The Age of Empires team announced today that they’ll be celebrating the franchise with a new event, Age of Empires: Fan Preview. The event will consist of a half-hour broadcast kicking off at 12pm ET / 9am PT on April 10th and will be hosted on AgeofEmpires.com, Twitch, Facebook Live, and the Xbox YouTube channel. The broadcast will include a new look at Age of Empires IV gameplay, civilizations, campaign and more. In addition, they’ll also be sharing some news for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition players too.
Today, Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment announced The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos, the second and final story expansion for the sci-fi RPG, is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion will release later this year on Nintendo Switch. The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos is available individually or at a discount as part of The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass, which also includes The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon expansion.
Murder on Eridanos adds an interstellar whodunit for players to solve. Rizzo’s spokesperson, Halcyon Helen, has been discovered dead and it’s up to you to untangle this web of mystery, deceit, and secrecy. The expansion also raises the level cap by 3, adds new science weapons, armor sets as well as more skill customization options.
Alongside the expansion, there is an update that removes the framerate cap when played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This update also allows players attempting to play an expansion with a save beyond the “point of no-return” option to load onboard the Unreliable, allowing them to play the expansion without need of creating a new game or character.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Flames of Ambition DLC game pack is now live and available for purchase on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing two new dungeons and kicking off 2021’s year-long Gates of Oblivion story. In addition, Update 29 has also gone live for consoles, introducing a host of free changes and improvements for all players, including a redesigned Champion System for high-level players.
2K and HB Studios today announced Divot Derby, a new multiplayer game mode for PGA Tour 2K21 where up to 20 players compete in a shoot-out style competition with single-elimination knockouts. Time is of the essence and the pressure is on, as players fight to the finish on every hole.
The concept is simple: the entire group tees off simultaneously, sending multicolored ball flight trails streaking through the air. From there, the chaos dials up as participants race to land on the green and sink the putt. The first golfer to make it to the ninth and final hole wins. Players who get knocked out early can watch the rest of the competition in Spectator Mode.
