Today, Square Enix announced that Marvel’s Avengers is now available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players who own the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game can upgrade to the full next-gen version at no additional cost and transfer their saved game to keep their progress. In addition, the game’s second post-launch Operation, Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect is out now, featuring a new playable Super Hero for the game: Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, the unmatched archer with unerring precision.
Square Enix also revealed that Black Panther and the War for Wakanda are coming to Marvel’s Avengers along with Klaw, the Wakandan Jungle Biome, new enemies, and much more. Stay tuned for more details.
Square Enix today premiered an in-depth 101 trailer for Outriders, the RPG-Shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix External Studios, at the company’s flagship digital showcase event, Square Enix Presents. Following a successful demo that drew over 2 million players, giving them a first look at Outriders’ dark sci-fi story campaign, the ‘This is Outriders 101’ trailer presents more information on what comes next in the full journey across Enoch.
Taito today announced a major update for G-Darius HD, included in the Darius Cozmic Revelation compilation for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, coming in late 2021. The update will be comprised of a new beginner’s mode for G-Darius and the addition of the rebalanced, arcade exclusive G-Darius Ver.2.
G-Darius Ver.2 brought the following changes to the game when it was first released and the update will mean 4 versions of G-Darius will be available: the standard G-Darius and G-Darius HD, along with standard and HD versions of Ver.2.

Focus Home Interactive and Streum On Studio today announce a new FPS based in the Warhammer 40,000 universe: Necromunda: Hired Gun. Set in Games Workshop’s dystopian cityscape of Necromunda, where gangs battle for survival in a nightmare underhive, Necromunda: Hired Gun is expected to launch on June 1st, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the first details on the new controller for next-gen VR on PlayStation 5. The new “orb”-shaped controller, designed to maximize gameplay freedom, will feature adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, finger-touch detection and more. Bandai Namco today revealed that Scarlet Nexus will be available on June 25th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. To celebrate the news, Bandai Namco released a new trailer featuring one of the game’s two playable protagonists, Kasane Randall.
