Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the second episode in the “Meet That Hero!” video series, featuring the extra special extraterrestrials Supergirl and E.T. (and a Doctor Who cameo)!
In the video, The Girl of Steel introduces viewers to the lovable E.T. and a variety of super powers to help others in the game, including the ability to phone his intergalactic crew.
Supergirl and E.T. will be joining the LEGO Dimensions Multiverse this September.
Camel 101 and Bigmoon Entertainment today announced that Syndrome, their claustrophobic survival horror title, will release October 6th on PC and early 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Indie developer Rockfish Games announced that their roguelike space shooter Everspace will hit Steam Early Access and GOG’s Games in Developement today for $29.99. The Unreal Engine 4 based space shooter will also launch through Game Preview on Xbox One and Windows 10 later this month.
To prepare for the launches of both the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games on November 18th, fans will be able to purchase a New Nintendo 3DS XL system inspired by the games starting on November 11th at the SRP of $239.99. The limited-edition system sports a slick black color with both of the new Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo and Lunala, gracing the cover.
When the games launch on November 18th, fans can also purchase the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Dual Pack, which includes both games, as well as two codes that will unlock 100 Poké Balls each. The Dual Pack will be available at Best Buy and EB Games.
Sega today revealed that Sonic Mania, starring Sonic in a 2D world full of new adventures, is releasing a physical Collector’s Edition. Chock-full of 90’s nostalgia, the Collector’s Edition will include, amongst other items, a 12-inch Sonic statue adorning a replicated (non-working) Sega Genesis console that plays the famous SEEGAA startup audio. The Collector’s Edition is now available for pre-order in stores or online. The standard Sonic Mania edition pre-order will come at a later date. Both editions will include a digital code for the game launching Spring 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition will include a deluxe themed collector’s box; a 12-inch Sonic statue on top of a replica Sega Genesis that plays the SEEGAA startup audio when the power switch is flipped; Sega cartridge cast with a gold ring inside and a metallic collector’s card with a download code for the actual digital game. Ubisoft today revealed of For Honor’s first closed alpha on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. From September 15th through September 18th, players around the world will join a cruel and bloody battlefield to measure their skills with the steel of their blades. Those still waiting to pledge their sword can sign up to have a chance to participate in the closed alpha at http://www.forhonorgame.com.
The closed alpha will test a work-in-progress slice of the multiplayer content with a limited number of players in order to generate feedback and assess for stability. During this test, players will get their chance to embody skilled and deadly elite warriors from the Knight, Viking and Samurai factions. The closed alpha will feature four previously showcased Heroes including the Kensei, Orochi, Warden and Raider, plus two brand-new warriors, Conqueror and Berserker. Each Hero is equipped with a unique set of skills, weapons, armor and fighting styles, as well as a wide library of customization options.
The closed alpha will also give players a first look at the progression system as they unlock new abilities, new weapons and armor, as well as new visual customization possibilities following their fight on the battlefield. Three out of the five multiplayer modes will be available for this test, including Duel (a 1v1 mode), Brawl (a 2v2 mode) and Dominion (a 4v4 mode). Each mode has different maps allowing fans to develop their tactical skills by using the environments to their advantage.
For Honor will bring its Art of Battle gameplay to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 14th.
