Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy XV, the next mainline entry in the Final Fantasy role-playing franchise, is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Set in the world of Eos, Final Fantasy XV casts players as Crown Prince Noctis and his comrades as they embark on a journey of brotherhood, love and despair and unravel Noctis’s destiny in his battle against the warmongering Niflheim empire.
Paradox Interactive today released a new expansion for Cities: Skylines. The expansion, titled “Natural Disasters,” is now available from digital retailers for $14.99.
The new expansion adds a calamitous collection of new features to Cities: Skylines, including new systems for disaster alerts and response – and of course the disasters themselves, which can occur randomly, or be triggered deliberately by mayors who have never liked their citizens. The game has also been updated today with a free Scenario Editor, allowing all players to design custom game objectives and share their scenarios via Steam Workshop. Also added for free is a new in-game radio station with a set of city-building tunes; owners of the Natural Disasters expansion will also get emergency broadcasts and early warnings via the radio.

THQ Nordic introduces a new hero in their “Meet the Dwarves” video series. Narmora, the swift and agile assassin specializes in sneaking up on single enemies and striking them down before they even see her. She can appear anywhere on the battlefield in a blink of an eye using “Shadow Step” or teleport back and forth to quickly assassinate 1 to 10 targets with her skills “Assassination” and “Shadow Death”.
The Dwarves will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 1st.
XSEED Games today announced that its 2D crossover fighter Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will make the jump from consoles to PC via Steam on December 8th.
Originally released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the PC release of Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel mirrors the latest version of the game still popular in Japanese arcades, offering rebalanced characters, added victory poses and animated stage backgrounds, as well as a brand new color palette to celebrate the PC version. All DLC from the console release, including the additional fighters Homura from the Senran Kagura series and Heart from the Arcana Heart series, is also included.
Following the launches of strategy titles such as Tropico 5, Grand Ages: Medieval, and Dungeons 2 on console, Kalypso Media today announced a new partnership with Daedalic Entertainment to bring the publisher’s new, existing, and upcoming strategy games to current generation consoles, including Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (Q2 2017), Valhalla Hills – Definitive Edition (Early 2017) and Blackguards 2 (Q2 2017).
Techland has announced details on the ‘Glaive’ character class, making its debut in Torment: Tides of Numenera.
Glaives are the elite warriors of the Ninth World – brandishing a diverse range of weaponry and offering a balance between might and speed. They are also the only class who can attack twice in one turn. Glaives engage in direct combat and enjoy a high defence rating. If you’re looking to develop a warrior with slow and powerful attacks, capable of absorbing lots of damage, or one who relies more on speed and agility then the Glaive should be your character of choice.
Torment: Tides of Numenera will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.

Bandai Namco today released Dragon Ball Fusions, a new portable Dragon Ball Action-RPG experience for the Nintendo 3DS that combines fighting, customization, and item collection elements to bring the Dragon Ball world to life. A free Dragon Ball Fusions downloadable update will be released in early 2017 that will implement online battles, an online special moves trading function, new characters, new fusion possibilities, and more.
