Housemarque Games, the studio behind Resogun, Alienation and Matterfall, today revealed that the upcoming arcade shooter, Nex Machina, will launch on June 20th for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Working in collaboration with Eugene Jarvis, creator of Robotron 2048 and Smash TV, the game is a tribute to the arcade classics of the 1980s.
In Nex Machina, humans have become deeply dependent on technology, while around them, machines have reached consciousness and surpassed human intelligence ten-fold. The machines turn on their creators and make it their mission to eradicate human life.
Additionally, Housemarque today announced local co-op play for the game. Staying true to the old-school arcade halls, local co-op will be included at Nex Machina’s launch, allowing players to compete against one another or work side by side to achieve victory.
Bandai Namco today announced One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Sail the high seas with Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat pirates in this action-adventure title remastered for the current generation of consoles with 1080p resolution, variable 60FPS frame rate, and over 40 pieces of DLC included. One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is set to release digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on August 25th with the Nintendo Switch version to release digitally in the Nintendo eShop in September.

Bandai Namco today announced that it has launched Chroma Squad digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $14.99.
Inspired by the Power Rangers, Chroma Squad is a tactical RPG developed by Brazilian indie developer, Behold Studios, which features classic sprite-based graphics and presents its story in the humor-filled Tokusatsu style, made famous in classic live-action Japanese sci-fi films and TV shows. The game enables players to take control of a team of five stunt actors who decide to quit their day jobs to live out their dreams of being Power Rangers. Players will have the chance to run their own TV production studios, customize and equip their teams, and direct them through turn-based battles to create their own TV shows.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Continuum, the second DLC Map Pack for the game, is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Continuum delivers four new maps, including the return of one of the most beloved maps from Modern Warfare 2, Rust, re-imagined for today’s generation with an ultramodern look. The new DLC pack also features “Shaolin Shuffle,” the next chapter of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare zombies experience set in 1970s disco era New York.
Bungie and Activision debuted Destiny 2’s gameplay for the first time to a global, livestreamed audience in a hands-on event at Jet Center in Hawthorne, California. The live broadcast showcased a variety of the activities, opening on a dramatic campaign mission that sets up the premise of the game to answer how you recover when your home is destroyed and your powers are taken away. The broadcast went on to detail the game’s social and cooperative activities, including the all-new “Guided Games” feature while highlighting multiple brand-new destinations. In September, Destiny 2 will be available on PlayStation 4 with additional, timed-exclusive content, and Xbox One. Additionally, Destiny 2 will be available on PC at retail and as the first third-party game to be offered digitally via Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming service.
Destiny 2 will offer a fresh start to all players with no previous knowledge or background needed. Destiny 2’s story allows the player to enjoy a heroic, cinematic journey, either solo or with friends. A key announcement during the livestream was about a new feature called, “Guided Games,” that makes it easy for all players to experience the most challenging and rewarding activities the game has to offer. This new feature allows solo players to find and play with other players to enjoy Destiny 2 and earn new in-game rewards like weapons, and armor. Also available for attendees was “Countdown,” an all-new competitive multiplayer mode as well as a three-player cooperative activity on a new map called, “Inverted Spire.”

Every player creates their own character called a “Guardian,” humanity’s chosen protectors. As a Guardian in Destiny 2, players must master new abilities and weapons to reunite the city’s forces, stand together and fight back to reclaim their home.

Atlus today announced that the visual novel/SRPG Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will be available on September 5th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game is the sequel to the upcoming Mask of Deception.
