Bandai Namco has released the first episode in the “Built by Drivers” monthly video series for Project Cars 2. This first episode shares a behind-the-scenes look at how McLaren’s Chris Goodwin and his team of engineers at McLaren Automotive are working directly with the Slightly Mad Studios team to contribute their knowledge of high performance engineering into the development of the McLaren 720S supercar in the game.
Project Cars 2 is racing its way to a late 2017 launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Big Star Games, in partnership with Lionsgate, today launched the action-strategy shooter Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days. Combining the tension of the cult-classic film with a “Time Rewind” gameplay mechanic, the title is now available for $14.99 on PC via Steam and Twitch Games Commerce. It is expected to arrive on consoles later this year.
Koei Tecmo today released a new trailer for developer Omega Force’s latest one-versus-thousands action title, Warriors All-Stars. The trailer for the Tamaki Clan features Zhao Yun, Lu Bu, Wang Yunaji and Zhou Cang from Dynasty Warriors, Oka, Tokitsugu and Horo from Toukiden, Sophie and Plachta from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book, Opoona from Opoona, and princess Tamaki.
DotEmu today announced the opening of the online closed beta of Windjammers from June 8th – 12th on PlayStation 4 only. Initially launched on arcade cabinet and NEOGEO, Windjammers is the mix of a sports game and fighting game where challengers face each other on a field and throw a Frisbee at the opponent’s goal zone to score points. The player with the most points wins. Discover, through this beta, the new online ranking mode giving gamers all over the world the chance to compete against each other. This closed beta will help DotEmu test the online mode and the matchmaking system.

Indie developer We The Force announced today that its sci-fi brawling platformer Randall will release on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on May 30th for $14.99.
Set in a dystopian world where society lives under the constant surveillance and absolute power of a malicious dictator, players take control of Randall, a powerful telepath with a touch of schizophrenia. As Randall players will start the uprising against the government by slugging it out with enemies, solving puzzles, and using mind-control powers to control and play as every single character on screen, seamlessly swapping between them and exploiting every power that they have.

Nintendo premiered a new Nintendo Direct video presentation all about its upcoming ARMS game for the Nintendo Switch – with a little surprise from everyone’s favourite Inklings in the Splatoon 2 game as part of a bonus trailer at the end. ARMS was created by many of the same team members that developed the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game for Nintendo Switch, promising the same level of polish and competitive action as the racing game. The Nintendo Direct video detailed many new features about ARMS, including key characters, attributes and the game’s numerous multiplayer battle modes, as well as information about a free Global Testpunch demo for the game that starts at the end of May.
The official Destiny 2 Gameplay Premiere global livestream event takes place tomorrow, May 18th at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern. Broadcasting from an airplane hangar in Hawthorne, California, Destiny 2’s developer, Bungie, joined by special guests, will debut gameplay of the sequel. NIS America today announced that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is headed to the Nintendo Switch in addition to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Because the game is heading to the Nintendo Switch, NIS America is delaying the release date to September 5th.
