2K Reveals WWE 2K18 Feature Set Details

2K today revealed the first feature set details for WWE 2K18. Mark Little, Executive Producer at Visual Concepts, today provided an overview of several key focus areas for WWE 2K18 in a blog post now live on wwe.2k.com. Key highlights include:

  • Creation Suite: The Creation Suite gets even deeper, including a new Create-a-Match feature and improvements to Create-a-Superstar, Create-an-Arena and Create-a-Video;
  • MyPLAYER: A new MyPLAYER experience introduces fighting styles and a brand new upgrade and progression system;
  • MyCAREER: A brand new MyCAREER experience incorporates a new story and a free-roaming backstage area that enable MyPLAYER characters to interact with other WWE Superstars and help direct the narrative;
  • Road to Glory Mode Debut: An all-new mode lets players compete against others, using their MyPLAYER characters, in a quest to qualify for WWE pay-per-view events;
  • New Graphics Engine: New visuals deliver spectacular new lighting, more realistic skin and new camera effects;
  • New Commentary Team: Introducing the trio of Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves;
  • Core Gameplay Additions and Improvements: A host of additional improvements will make WWE 2K18 the most comprehensive and realistic WWE game to date.

WWE 2K18 is scheduled for release on October 17th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Creative Assembly Announces A Total War Saga

Creative Assembly today shared initial plans for a new class of historical Total War game that will launch under the badge of “A Total War Saga”.

This new spin-off series will arrive before the next major historical release in the franchise. Building on previous titles, Total War Sagas will center on pivotal flashpoints in those eras, such as civil wars, renowned conquests and political upheavals.

Similar in scope and focus to Fall of The Samurai, the standalone follow-up to Shogun II, the first Total War Saga will continue on from Rome II and Attila, presenting a new challenge in a focused geographical area.

Fate/Extella Coming to PC

XSEED Games today announced that Fate/Extella, the action title set within the Fate universe, will launch for PC via Steam on July 25th as a standalone digital release for $49.99. To celebrate, XSEED Games will host a one-week 10% off launch sale for the base game as well as 20% off all of the PC version’s DLC from July 25th through July 31st.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia Coming Exclusively to PS4

Bandia Namco today announced that The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is coming to the Americas exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Based on the manga and anime series The Seven Deadly Sins, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is the first console video game adaptation of the manga and anime series that started streaming in North America exclusively on Netflix earlier this year.

The Seven Deadly Sins is a legendary gang of rebels who have been blamed for overthrowing the Kingdom of Liones and are hunted by elite guards called Holy Knights. Bandai Namco Announces Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time

Bandai Namco today announced a new entry in the RPG genre with Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, coming in early 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is a 3D action RPG beat ‘em up featuring an original storyline carved from the anime series by Studio Trigger; now streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries.
