Skybound Entertainment and Finnish indie game studio Rival Games have partnered to bring Robert Kirkman’s comic book series Thief of Thieves into the gaming world with a new interactive game based off of the comic. The game will be demoed for the first time ever at San Diego Comic-Con in July and will be available for PC via Steam in early 2018.
Thief of Thieves will follow Celia, the protégé of Kirkman’s comic book protagonist Conrad Paulson, the legendary thief known as Redmond, during her apprentice years. While the comic book series introduces Celia in a flashback, the game will detail how Celia became an accomplished thief of her own.
Players globally can play the Destiny 2 console open beta on July 21st through July 23rd. The Destiny 2 beta will feature a variety of activities including the opening story mission, Homecoming, and cooperative and competitive modes.
Pre-order early access to the beta on PlayStation 4 begins July 18th. For Xbox One players, early access begins July 19th.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced the Nemesis Forge, a new update for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor that will allow a player to bring their top Nemesis and Follower from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to Middle-earth: Shadow of War when it releases on October 10th. In Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, players created personal stories of revenge through the unique enemies and allies generated by the Nemesis System. With the Nemesis Forge, these stories continue in Middle-earth: Shadow of War by importing a returning player’s arch Nemesis from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, while also identifying a player’s most loyal Orc follower, who can help fight and defend against Sauron’s forces. The Nemesis Forge is now available for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam.
Telltale Games and Mojang today released the first official trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two. This trailer focuses on the upcoming first episode, Hero in Residence, which will be available for download starting July 11th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Absolution, the third DLC Map Pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, is available now on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4. Absolution features four new multiplayer maps and includes “Attack of the Radioactive Thing!” with actress Cassandra Peterson starring as Elvira in a 1950s Creature Feature zombies experience.
Capcom today released a brand new gameplay video for Monster Hunter: World. The video takes a deeper look at how one of the upcoming title’s quests unfolds as players set off on their journey to defeat the giant new monster, Anjanath, in the lush and leafy paradise of the Ancient Forest.
Monster Hunter: World comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2018. A PC release will follow at a later date.

Bandai Namco today released a new Gundam Versus trailer highlighting the variety of single player and online modes that will enable players to hold their own against CPU opponents, connect online for co-op with friends, and compete in classic 2v2 matches or new 1v1 and 3v3 fights. Gundam Versus will be launching on September 29th for the PlayStation 4.
