SNK today announced the return of their weapon-based fighter Samurai Shodown, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this June, Nintendo Switch in Q4 2019, and PC at a later date. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, the new Samurai Shodown reboots the classic 2D fighting game with new 3D graphics that retain the classic fantasy Samurai manga look of the series, while also bringing the series up-to-date with the latest graphical standards.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today revealed a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer featuring returning fan-favorite character, Noob Saibot, showcased during the official Mortal Kombat 11 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo panel. Also announced was Shang Tsung, the first DLC character revealed for Mortal Kombat 11. Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will lend his voice and likeness to the character that he portrayed in the classic 1998 Mortal Kombat film.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be available beginning April 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Today, Coldwood Interactive and Electronic Arts released their puzzle platform game, Unravel Two, on Nintendo Switch. Unravel Two tells the story of the bond between two Yarnys, the leading characters made of yarn, leveraging platforming gameplay that supports drop-in/drop-out local or online co-op as well as single player.

Chapter 3: Trial By Fire brings the Firestorm Battle Royale mode that officially goes live in the game on March 25th, while April will bring added challenges to the Combined Arms mode. In June, players can secure and build objectives to endure the fight in a new multiplayer game mode called Outpost.
Chapter 4: Defying the Odds will introduce even more new ways to play Battlefield V starting in June with a new Marita multiplayer map taking place in Greece in late 1940 and a new 5-vs-5 mode set in tight arenas. Players will learn much more about Tides of War: Defying the Odds at EA Play this summer.

Spike Chunsoft’s latest detective adventure, AI: The Somnium Files, launches on July 25th for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The new trailer debuted at GDC gives you a first look at the world of AI: The Somnium Files.
In partnership with Furyu, Spike Chunsoft also announced that Crystar is coming to the West on August 27th for PlayStation 4 and Steam. The Action RPG will be released in the West fully localized with English text and voices.

Square Enix today announced the release date for the third episode of the five-episode season Square Enix External Studios and Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet’s Life is Strange team at Dontnod Entertainment. Life is Strange 2 Episode 3: ‘Wastelands’, will release on May 9th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Episode 4 and Episode 5 will release on August 22nd and December 3rd, respectively.
