Today marks the start of brand-new Series in DOOM Eternal. The arrival of Series 2, dubbed Coffee & Camo, introduces a new collection of cosmetic unlockables for players to earn. From now until May 14th, players can earn XP to unlock brand-new weapon skins, icons, nameplates and player skins. Among those skins are the noble Toad King Pain Elemental skin, the elusive Camo Slayer skin and – the holy grail – the demonic coffee shop-frequenting Hipster Archvile Master Collection.
Bandai Namco today announced Jump Force Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch, featuring a roster of over 50 playable characters from 16 different Weekly Shonen Jump franchises including all previously released DLC characters from the Season 1 Characters Pass.
The Jump Force Character Pass 2 has also been announced today for all versions of the game. Character Pass 2 will come with five new playable characters, the first being Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, and the rest coming from the following manga franchises: Yuyu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. More information regarding Character Pass 2 will be released a later date.
Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios today announced Invasions, the next expansion to the 4X strategy game Age of Wonders: Planetfall. Introducing a brand new playable faction, expanded worlds, unique and formidable challenges, and alternate playstyles, this expansion brings the chaos of the void to Planetfall. Invasions will launch on May 26th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Last Saturday, Devin Booker defeated Deandre Ayton in the Finals of the inaugural NBA 2K Players Tournament which aired on ESPN. For being crowned the inaugural NBA 2K Players Champion, the $100,000 grand prize will be donated and split between #FirstRespondersFirst and the Arizona Food Bank Network, Booker’s charities of choice, in support of ongoing coronavirus relief efforts.
The final featured Booker besting Ayton in a Best-of-Three matchup. He cruised in Game 1, playing as the Houston Rockets past Ayton as the Los Angeles Lakers in a 72-62 victory. Booker then doubled up in Game 2 to take the crown as the Denver Nuggets with a clutch 74-62 victory over Ayton, who was playing as the Milwaukee Bucks.
Deep Silver and Codemasters today announced that F1 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship, will release on July 10th for the PlayStatoin 4, Xbox One, PC, and for the first time, Google Stadia.
Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive today announced World War Z Game of the Year Edition will be available on May 5th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Bandai Namco today announced that the next chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology series, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope will be releasing in summer 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
In Little Hope, abandoned and all alone, four college students and their professor are trapped by a mysterious fog in the isolated eponym town. They search desperately for a means of escape while visions from the town’s occult-steeped past haunt them from the shadows. In order to stay alive, they must uncover the mysteries behind these relentlessly-pursuing dark apparitions before evil forces drag each of their souls to hell!
The Coalition today debuted the launch trailer for Gears Tactics ahead of its release on Windows 10 PC and Steam on April 28th. Gears Tactics is also in development for Xbox One and that version will arrive later this year.
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced its Play At Home initiative today. Play At Home has two components: first, providing free games to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home; and finally, establishing a fund to help smaller independent game studios who may be experiencing financial difficulties continue building great experiences for all gamers.
