Rockstar Games announced that starting December 1st, a standalone version of Red Dead Online will be available to purchase on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and Steam with PS4 and Xbox One versions playable via backward compatibility on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
For the first time, new players who do not already own Red Dead Redemption 2 can experience everything Red Dead Online has to offer, including access to all future content updates. This standalone version will be available at the introductory price of $4.99 (75% off the regular price) until February 15th, 2021, and will include an option to unlock Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode, plus all existing gameplay upgrades and content for Red Dead Online, such as the upcoming 10 Rank expansion for the Bounty Hunter Role – scheduled to launch next week.

Chronos: Before the Ashes is based on the VR-exclusive Chronos from Gunfire Games, but has been overhauled and optimized to work on all platforms without the need for VR support. Chronos: Before the Ashes will be available on PC, Stadia, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

Powered by IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine, Hitman 3 will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI. Chongqing also features full water effects, with details such as rain drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing Hitman 3.
Hitman 3 will be available on January 20th, 2021 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC. Hitman 3 will also be coming to Nintendo Switch, playable via cloud streaming technology.
Square Enix today announced that NEO: The World Ends with You, the follow-up to the action role-playing game, The World Ends with You, is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021.
NEO: The World Ends with You transports players to the streets of the Shibuya, where they will take part in the “Reapers’ Game,” a life-or-death battle for survival. Players will take on the role of Rindo as they explore the heart of Tokyo to uncover the mysteries behind the sinister Game in which they have been forced to take part.
2K announced today that “Laheem” Lillard and “Gronkster” are set to arrive in WWE 2K Battlegrounds as part of the next roster update, which starts today. HBO has given a series order to the drama The Last of Us, it was announced today by Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming. Craig Mazin (HBO’s “Chernobyl”), Neil Druckmann (“The Last of Us” and “Uncharted” video game franchises), and Carolyn Strauss (HBO’s “Chernobyl” and “Game of Thrones”) are executive producers along with Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan. Written by Mazin and Druckmann, the series is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, and Naughty Dog produce.
Based on the video game “The Last of Us,” developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation platforms, the story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
“The Last of Us” will be available on HBO and to stream on HBO Max.

CD Projekt Red today released new videos for Cyberpunk 2077, including a new trailer focusing on the legendary rockerboy played by Keanu Reeves, as well as gameplay and behind the scenes footage, all part of the latest episode of Night City Wire.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release December 10th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. At a later date, a free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of next-gen hardware, will become available for owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions respectively.
