Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today unveiled the first footage of the Batmobile from Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham Knight as it transitions into “Battle Mode.” The teaser highlights the Batmobile’s versatility as it morphs into a full combat ready machine.

Sega has revealed more details about the Sonic Boom video games on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS that will debut this November. The new games Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the Nintendo 3DS will introduce new gameplay and the most vile and formidable villain in Sonic history — Lyric.
In both games, Sonic and friends – Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and the newest member of the team, Sticks, will work together as they face their most powerful enemy yet. Lyric is a giant and monstrous snake-like creature from an ancient race. An extremely tech-savvy mastermind who uses a sophisticated robotic body of armor to carry out his own nefarious deeds, he is a formidable enemy and a force to be reckoned with. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, the roles of Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks will be elevated in gameplay that capitalizes on each character’s unique talents and abilities. The goal is to prevent Lyric from powering his army of robots and carrying out his plan to destroy the world. The stakes have never been higher, and the only chance to overcome Lyric is to band together and work as a team.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will deliver a different experience than past titles. The detailed levels and emphasis on each character’s unique abilities will showcase the distinctive feel of an action-adventure game, giving players more choice in exploration as they work as a team to stop the deadly snake-like ancient villain, Lyric, before he can power up his army. The gameplay will challenge players with over-the-top speed runs, but the heart of the game will focus on combat and brand-new abilities including the Enerbeam. This new feature in the game gives players an energy-charged cord that can be used by characters to navigate the world like never before. Players will be able to swing or zip-line across gaps, explore alternate paths, grab and throw enemies and take away their shields in combat.
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is a standalone adventure that shares key characters, events and lore of the Sonic Boom universe with exclusive environments and characters. For the first time ever, gamers will be able to take on the role of Sticks, the newest member of the team who will play an integral role in the story after her best friend Amy gets kidnapped by the ancient villain Lyric. While the Wii U version is focused on action-adventure and exploration, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will place a bigger emphasis on platforming and puzzles. Additionally, collectibles featured in the Nintendo 3DS version will unlock special content on Wii U via Wi-Fi connectivity.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced Mortal Kombat X, NetherRealm Studios’ next installment in its fighting game franchise. Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for release in 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, and PC.
Mortal Kombat X combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game’s characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together.
Nintendo today announced that Tomodachi Life will launch this Friday, June 6th in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. Anyone who buys the game will get two codes to give to friends who own Nintendo 3DS systems to let them download a special “Move-In” demo version of Tomodachi Life so they can check it out for themselves.
Nintendo also announced that on June 6th, the Sea Green Nintendo 2DS hits stores for $129.99. The portable device has a white front and back with sea green accents on the directional pad, face buttons and stylus. The new colour joins the Red and Blue Nintendo 2DS that are currently available.

Trapped in this American nightmare, Philadelphia has become a police state, where surveillance drones and armored patrols keep her once-proud citizens at heel, crushing any dissent with totalitarian force.
To overcome their oppressors, players will have to engage in guerrilla warfare and use ambush, infiltration and hit and run tactics in un-scripted firefights. At every turn they’ll find a sprawling open-world city, in which recruiting fellow revolutionaries and building improvised homebrew weapons are just two of the keys to creating a powerful resistance force.
Beyond the single player, Homefront: The Revolution supports up to four players in online Co-Op gameplay where you form your own resistance cell and become renowned as Heroes of the Revolution.
Indie developer Loren Lemcke and Mastertronic announced they will bring Over 9000 Zombies! to Steam Early Access in July. Over 9000 Zombies! is a retro-style, top-down zombie shoot-‘em-up. The zombie apocalypse has arrived and you must annihilate them to survive.
Electronic Arts announced that Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman will match up with Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the final round of the Madden NFL 15 Cover Vote. This is the last chance for fans to visit ESPN.com/maddenvote and make their choice for this year’s cover athlete. They can also show their support on social media by using the hashtag #MaddenCover.
Sherman and Newton enter the finals as the top seeds from their respective sides of the bracket.
