Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC Pack Launches for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Call of Duty: Ghosts players on Xbox One and Xbox 360 can now purchase Invasion, the game’s third epic DLC Pack. Invasion offers players four new multiplayer maps, plus “Awakening” – the next chapter in the game’s four-part episodic Extinction storyline, and more unique Field Orders, including the Death Mariachi, the Blessing of Anubis – the Half Jackal/Half Human Protector of the Dead, and Ghost Pirates. Invasion is available a la carte for $14.99, or as part of the discounted Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Season Pass.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Announced

Natsume today announced that the next title in the farming-RPG Harvest Moon series, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS later this year. The game will make its public debut at E3 next week in Los Angeles.

In Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, players will experience the role-playing farm simulation in a three-dimensional setting for the first time. The game has a fully customizable world, and players can customize their field in any way they see fit: from a field full of tulips like you might see in Holland, to a valley filled with water like Venice, the choice is up to you.

Crytek Announces HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age

Crytek today announced HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age, a new multiplayer experience on PC And consoles.

An all-new IP, HUNT is a third-person action game where up to four players band together to fend off an onslaught of bloodthirsty creatures and track down bosses. Featuring co-op gameplay, HUNT is the debut title from Crytek USA, and will be published by Crytek as part of their Games-as-a-Service range.

Set in the late 1800s, HUNT depicts a world where so-called myths and folklore actually point to the terrifying truth about evil lurking just beyond the fringes of day-to-day life. Players act as hunters willing to take up arms and risk their necks by venturing into the deadliest of territories and facing the hideous creatures that have overrun them.

HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age is scheduled to enter Closed Beta testing on PC later this year, and players can sign up for a chance to experience the game first at http://www.huntthegame.com.

Ubisoft today announced ongoing record sales for Watch Dogs, which has sold-through more than 4 million copies in its first week, positioning it as the best-selling new IP at launch across the video game industry. Having already broken sales records in the first 24 hours following its release, Watch Dogs is now the company’s best-selling game ever in week one.

Ultra Street Fighter IV Released

Capcom announced that Ultra Street Fighter IV has released today as digital upgrade content for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Owners of Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition can download Ultra Street Fighter IV as a $14.99 digital content upgrade.

In Ultra Street Fighter IV, Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Decapre join the fight, complete with new animations and their own unique play styles, bringing the final roster count to 44 characters. Six new battle environments (including Pitstop 109, Cosmic Elevator, Half Pipe and more) provide a backdrop to the action. Direct fan feedback was gathered on all of the original 39 characters from Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and the core system mechanics in order to achieve the most balanced Street Fighter ever. In addition to the new content and the rebalanced gameplay, the new version features a host of new features and modes.

On August 5th, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 retail versions will be in stores for $39.99, with the full digital bundle on PS3 available as a download then too. Both the $14.99 PC digital upgrade and $29.99 PC full digital bundle will be out on August 8th. Players who purchase the retail versions (PS3, Xbox 360) or full digital bundles (PS3, PC) will receive all previously released costumes for the series.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Collector’s Edition

Square Enix today announced a Collector’s Edition and a pre-order incentive for its upcoming rhythm action game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call.

Limited to 5,000 copies, the Collector’s Edition will feature a branded Nintendo 3DS Collector’s Pouch, a 20-track ‘The Best of Theathrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call’ music CD, ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call – Remix Selections’ music CD (five tracks), and five premium CollectaCards from the game. The Collector’s Edition will be available for $69.99 exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store.

Fans that pre-order the standard edition of the game will receive a complimentary upgrade to a Limited Edition version of the title, which includes the ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call – Remix Selections’ music CD. Drakengard 3 DLC Released

Square Enix today released additional downloadable content for Drakengard 3. Among the new DLC are the Sister Prologues that offer new playable levels as the various sisters, and provide insight into their backgrounds. Details of the Drakengard 3’s second DLC drop include:

  • Sister Prologues: Additional prequel chapters featuring Two, Three, Four, Five and Zero in a playable level with their own unique weapons; each chapter, minus Two, contains its own unique trophy set as well ($5.99 each)
  • Sister Prologue Bundle: Contains all of the above prologue chapters, including One ($29.99)
  • Furiae’s Garb: The costume of the princess turned goddess, Furiae, from the original Drakengard, please reduce damage taken by 5% when equipped ($2.99)
  • Eris’s Garb: The garment of the youngest military commander in Drakengard® 2 prevents stamina loss when guarding ($2.99)
