Gato Salvaje Studio announced that their crowd-funded point-and-click adventure game AR-K has been released on Steam. The current chapters of AR-K are being offered as a package, combining the remastered Chapter 1: Gone with the Sphere and the new Chapter 2: The Girl Who Wasn’t There for $7.99 during its initial week of sales, after which the regular price will be $9.99.
Bungie has released the Destiny Vanguard Armory Pre-Order Bonus trailer. Fans who pre-order (or who have pre-ordered) Destiny will get access to the Vanguard Armory that includes early access to weapons, gear, and an exclusive player emblem when the game launches on September 9th.
The NPD Group has released its report for the month of June. While software sales were down 3% year-over-year in June, hardware sales were up 106%. Overall, total industry sales increased 24% to $736 million. Once again PlayStation 4 was the best selling platform followed by Xbox One, despite Microsoft’s price cut. Wii U hardware sales were up 233% year-over-year.

Electronic Arts announced that US Men’s National Team Captain and Seattle Sounders FC midfielder, Clint Dempsey, will appear on the North American cover of FIFA 15, sharing the honors with Lionel Messi. This will mark the first time that an American has appeared on the game’s cover since 2011.
EA Sports has released the next video in their FIFA 15 Gameplay Features series, this time, focusing on how the game delivers the emotion and intensity of the sport. For the first time ever, FIFA 15 models the emotions of all 22 players on the pitch, giving fans a chance to experience first-hand the attitudes and personalities of the world’s best football players during a match. With region specific behaviors, crowds will now be distinguished by cheers and chants designated to their club, league, country, or continent. New bench reactions, 10 player goal celebrations, ball boy animations, and contextual commentary will keep FIFA 15 fans engaged in the story of the match.
FIFA 15 hits stores September 23rd on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and other platforms.
Kalypso Media announced that the trading strategy game Rise of Venice is now available to purchase via digital distribution as a comprehensive Gold Edition that includes all previously released additional content. A retail boxed version will be available to purchase on August 26th.
Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio have released a new trailer for their upcoming infiltration game, Styx: Master of Shadows, planned for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in September. The trailer invites us to follow Styx, the two-century old Goblin whose main occupation is thievery and assassination, as he begins infiltrating the huge Tower of Akenash.
Bungie announced the Destiny Beta is now live for Destiny pre-order fans on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Destiny ships on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on September 9th.
Little Orbit, in collaboration with Disney Interactive, announced that Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue, the video game based on Disney’s new animated film, “Planes: Fire & Rescue,” will launch this fall exclusively for Nintendo platforms.
Deep Silver has released a new CGI trailer for the arcade hack ‘n’ slash title, Sacred 3, showing off the competitive and co-op gameplay. Sacred 3 will be available on August 5th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
