Defense Grid 2, the sequel to the 2008 tower defense game, has kicked off its Steam pre-order in advance of the game’s September launch. In addition to receiving 10% of the launch price, consumers who pre-purchase Defense Grid 2 now will receive immediate access to the beta (currently only for PC users). As more people pre-order, additional incentive tiers will be unlocked, including the original Defense Grid digital art book, a free copy of the Containment expansion to Defense Grid: The Awakening, and more.
A special edition of Defense Grid 2 will be available for purchase that includes all unlocked pre-order incentive items, an exclusive digital Defense Grid 2 art book and the e-book, The Making of Defense Grid 2: The Complete Story Behind the Game.
Telltale Games shares the official trailer and release dates for ‘Amid the Ruins,’ the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series.
The Walking Dead: Season Two – Episode 4 ‘Amid the Ruins’ will be available starting July 22nd on PC via Steam, the Telltale Online Store and other digital distributions services, and on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. On July 23rd, the episode will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360. ‘Amid the Ruins’ will be available for $4.99 individually, or as part of a season pass option including access to episodes as they are released.

EA Sports has released the next trailer in the NHL 15 Gameplay Series with a video focusing on how the game captures the chaos and unpredictability of the sport with true hockey physics. NHL 15 drops on September 9th.

Disney Interactive today announced that Stitch and Tinker Bell will join Merida, Maleficent and all of the characters from Disney Infinity and Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes in Toy Box 2.0 this fall. The Stitch and Tinker Bell Toy Box figures will be available in retail stores this fall.
Zen Studios announced today that Pinball FX2 will make its debut on Xbox One via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program on July 31st. Pinball FX2 will arrive as a free download on Xbox One with nearly the entire Pinball FX2 library available on day one, including all Star Wars Pinball table packs, all Marvel Pinball tables, Plants vs. Zombies Pinball, and Zen’s original tables available for purchase, with future tables, including The Walking Dead Pinball, just on the horizon.
Pinball FX2 brings all the pinball action for which the franchise is known into the next-generation with 1080p graphics at 60 frames per second, worldwide tournaments, new achievements, and a new menu interface. Additionally, downloading Pinball FX2 on Xbox One nets you the Sorcerer’s Lair table for free.

Kasedo Games announced that Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will be coming to retail as a boxed physical copy on August 12th for $29.99. Currently available on Steam, the Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar boxed version will contain the complete campaign chapters and sandbox mode, along with the many tweaks and fixes added to the Steam digital launch version.
Devolver Digital and Roll7 announced that the PC version of OlliOlli will hit Steam on July 22nd for $12.99. Originally launched on the PlayStation Vita, the PC version of OlliOlli will include more rewards and four game modes.
