FromSoftware today released Crown of the Sunken King, the first chapter in its The Lost Crowns DLC trilogy for Dark Souls II.
Players will find new environments, enemies, traps, and bosses to conquer as they embark on a journey to reclaim the crowns that Drangleic’s King Vendrick once owned. Crown of the Sunken King features an entirely different world within the Dark Souls II universe, where stepped pyramids span a vast underground cavern and death lays in wait around every corner.
Crown of the Sunken King is available for download on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC for $9.99. The Steam season pass encompassing all three chapters of the Lost Crowns trilogy is available for $24.99.
Trendy Entertainment today launched Dungeon Defenders Eternity, an enhanced edition of their tower defense meets action-RPG, Dungeon Defenders. Eternity is the definitive version of Dungeon Defenders, featuring previously released material, new content, redesigned gameplay balance and cross-platform play. The game will also unlock exclusive content in the upcoming sequel, Dungeon Defenders II, shortly after launch. Eternity is available now for PC via Steam for $14.99.
As part of the Legacy of Music Campaign for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, Square Enix announced a contest for music lovers. Starting August 5th, fans can partake in this musical experience by creating and uploading a music video of themselves performing the main theme of Final Fantasy. To qualify, all submitted videos must be approximately one minute and thirty seconds long, and should include a sign from participants stating their favorite Final Fantasy game.

PS Plus subscribers can also look forward to discounts at launch. Table Top Racing is a micro combat racer that pits all manner of custom-made, miniaturized cars against one another.
Moonshot Games are bringing their iOS game Third Eye Crime to PC tomorrow, July 23rd via Steam for $4.99. Third Eye Crime features a cinematic noir style and a jazz soundtrack while offering a unique twist to the stealth puzzle game genre. Using your “third eye” to predict enemy movements, players can lead enemies on a wild goose chase to pull off the perfect crime.
Focus Home Interactive today announced Farming Simulator 15 will be available on PC in October and early 2015 on consoles.
The first official player ratings have been revealed on the Madden Ratings Hub. Today the top 10 rookies take the stage, with top overall draft pick Jadeveon Clowney and #2 pick Greg Robinson sharing the top rating at 83 overall. Other top flite rookies include Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack (81), Bills wideout Sammy Watkins (80) and Packers safety HaHa Clinton-Dix (79). Browns QB Johnny Manziel didn’t manage to crack the top 10, so fans wondering where Johnny Football ended up will have to check back on August 1st when the full AFC North ratings are unveiled.
