Sega today announced that Yakuza 5 can now be pre-ordered digitally on PlayStation Network. Gamers who pre-order the game can purchase it at a 15% discount off the $39.99 launch price. As an added pre-order bonus, players will also receive a static Yakuza 5 theme for their PlayStation 3.
In addition, Sega has released the third and final part of Gio Corsi of SCEA Third Party Production’s interview with Yakuza series General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama as they discuss the game’s music, the developers’ thoughts on the Western release and the game’s themes.
Bandai Namco today announced that it has launched One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC via Steam.
Daedalic Entertainment launched Bounty Train, their modern take on the train-simulation genre, on Steam’s Early Access platform today.
Until August 31st, the core version of Bounty Train will be available for a discounted price of $19.99 USD, with a special “Trainium” edition (contains the game’s soundtrack, artbook and other special items) for $27.99 USD.
Bounty Train, by indie developer Corbie, has players controlling a steam train in frontier America, following trade routes between towns, fending off attackers and managing the train.
Tomorrow, the Bungie team will continue to roll out all-new information for the upcoming Destiny: The Taken King.
On Wednesday, August 26th at 2:00pm Eastern, Deej (Bungie Community Manager) will host a livestream straight from the studio with James Tsai (Design Lead) and community guest Mr. Fruit. They’ll be infiltrating the Dreadnaught, fighting the Taken and debuting an all-new Strike against a rival Cabal invasion force deep within The Taken King’s stronghold.

Kalypso Media today announced the release of Crookz – The Big Heist, its tactical heist-em-up strategy game for PC. In addition to being available on digital stores, the boxed retail version of Crookz – The Big Heist is available as a Limited Special Edition, which includes two exclusive DLC outfits, a digital copy of the funky 70s soundtrack and a digital copy of the Crookz short movie.
Codemasters today announced the introduction of the all-new multiplayer rallycross mode in DiRT Rally, free to download now for all Early Access players. From today, drivers will not just be racing against the clock, but against fellow DiRT Rally owners from around the world.
Capcom today announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection is now available to purchase digitally for $14.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Physical editions of the game will also be available early 2016 for $29.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo 3DS.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed today screenshots that showcase some of the many different environments that exist throughout the 14 levels of LEGO Dimensions. Players can interact with most of the fan-favorite universes within LEGO Dimensions from the Starter Pack main game, no matter which characters, vehicles and gadgets they choose to play with, and with no additional purchase or expansion pack required.
At the start of the game, the heroes Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle begin their journey on the Yellow Brick Road in the colorful world of Oz. Their quest takes them through the city of Ninjago, plus Metropolis, Middle Earth, and Hill Valley, just to name a few. Each level offers players a new mission on their path to save the LEGO Multiverse.
For players who want to further customize their gameplay experience, the characters, vehicles and gadgets from any of the LEGO Dimensions Level Packs, Team Packs and Fun Packs can be brought into any of the different level environments with no restrictions. The LEGO Dimensions Level Packs will provide players with an additional level to play of a given entertainment franchise, in addition to the 14 levels included in the main game.
Launching September 27th, LEGO Dimensions will be available for Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
Square Enix today announced a competition that will give North American players who pre-order the Just Cause 3 Day 1 edition a chance to win their own real-life island.
The contest will be an exercise in destruction, with participants racing to score the most Chaos Points by unleashing Rico Rodriguez’s collection of guns, bombs, vehicles and his faithful grappling hook to wreak havoc all over the in-game island of Medici. The more creative and inventive the mayhem, the more Chaos Points players will earn, with an actual island at stake for the top-scoring winner.
The Just Cause 3 Win an Island Competition will begin at the game’s launch on December 1st and run for 90 days. After the release of the reveal trailer for Dying Light: The Following, Techland is giving fans the chance to take a closer look at the upcoming story-based expansion. A video has been released with over 15 minutes of uncut gameplay coupled with commentary from some of the Dying Light team – all recorded during last week’s Twitch stream. In the playthrough, fans are taken down the “The Trust Is Out There” quest chain, which showcases some of the core new features of Dying Light: The Following, including a massive new map, drivable and upgradeable dirt buggies, and new types of ranged weapons.
