Ubisoft Changes Rainbow Six: Siege Canada Tournament Dates

Ubisoft today announced new dates for its Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege Canada Tournament, a national competition that will visit four Canadian cities and see teams battle for the highest score in Rainbow Six: Siege matches. Kicking off in Montreal on August 26th before visiting Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, each city’s top scorers will move on to compete in the Rainbow Six Siege Canada Tournament Finals in Toronto in November. The last standing team will be crowned Canadian grand champion, and will win a Ubisoft prize pack as well as a $5,000 grand prize.

Rainbow Six Siege Canada Tournament events will be held in the below Canadian cities on the specified dates:

Montreal: August 26, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Toronto: September 24, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Dying Light Co-Op Demo Now Available

Techland announced today that a free demo of its zombie game Dying Light is now available to download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The demo lets players explore most of the Slums area and offers 3 hours of content, including one story quest chain and a number of side quests, challenges, and random encounters. It also features all the core gameplay mechanics of Dying Light, such as the day&night cycle, parkour-based Natural Movement system, creative brutality and crafting. Additionally, the demo supports online co-op mode for up to 4 players.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is Live on Kickstarter

Larian Studios today announced that the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter campaign is live.

Backers will have the opportunity to claim Kickstarter-only rewards including multiplayer packs, a unique Kickstarter Collector’s Edition, custom artwork, and even a surprise pack that includes handpicked trinkets, mementos and other little things that inspired the team as they were developing the game. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 – “The Skaters” Trailer

Activision today shared a new behind-the-scenes trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 that chronicles each of the skateboarding professionals in the game. There are riders from different eras of skateboarding sharing their perspectives on gaming history and how the classic THPS games intersected with the ever-progressing skateboarding scene, as well as what it’s been like to participate in THPS5.

Tony Hawk himself oversaw the inclusion of the following pros in THPS5: Nyjah Huston, Riley Hawk, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, Ishod Wair, Leticia Bufoni, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Andrew Reynolds, and Lizzie Armanto.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is scheduled to launch on September 29th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is also planned for release without online play on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 10th.

Turok and Turok 2 Slated for Digital Re-Release

Night Dive Studios today announce that it will restore and publish modernized versions of two classic game titles: Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.

Originally developed for PC in 1997 and Nintendo 64 in 1999, both titles will be re-mastered for today’s modern computers with enhanced graphics and other improvements. The games will be made available for sale exclusively through Steam, the Humble Bundle store, GOG, GamersGate, Greenman Gaming, and via the Night Dive Studios website.

Square Enix today announced a collector’s edition for Rise of the Tomb Raider that is available exclusively from the Square Enix e-store and the Official Tomb Raider store.

The collector’s edition is packed with memorabilia, including a 12-inch tall statue of Lara Croft that depicts her search for answers on her first tomb raiding expedition, a model of the jade necklace that was Lara’s first archeological discovery, and a collectible steel book case.
