Electronic Arts today officially launched Madden NFL 16, giving fans the opportunity to be the playmaker from the war room to the gridiron. Gameplay enhancements bring new levels of physicality and excitement to the game, and the new Draft Champions mode gives players a dose of fantasy football with a Madden NFL twist, offering a completely fresh experience. Madden NFL 16 is available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Bethesda Softworks today announced that Dishonored Definitive Edition is now available. French indie developer Shiro Games today announced that Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder, the time-traveling, genre-spanning standalone follow-up to the 2013 indie title Evoland, is now available on PC via Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store for $19.99. In celebration of this announcement, Shiro Games has released a launch trailer for Evoland 2.
Indie developer Funktronic Labs and publisher Curve Digital today announced that Nova-111, the unique turn-based yet real-time sci-fi adventure, is now available on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam for $14.99. Fans who purchase the game early will receive a special promotional discount.
Nova-111 is a quirky sci-fi adventure game set in space that utilizes an interesting in-game mechanic in which players must manipulate both turn-based strategy and real-time gameplay to fight alien creatures and solve puzzles. Players must take control of the research vessel Nova and explore space to save 111 of the world’s greatest minds after the biggest scientific experiment in the universe goes horribly wrong.
Nova-111 will be available on Xbox One on August 28t, and the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 versions will release on September 1st. A Wii U version will arrive later this year.
Daedalic Entertainment has launched Valhalla Hills, a humorous take on the civilization-builder/strategy genre, on Steam’s Early Access today.
Until August 31st, the core version of Valhalla Hills will be available for a discounted price of $15.99 USD (normally $19.99 USD), with optional “Premium” and “Contributor” versions (with extra content) also available.
Valhalla Hills is about a Viking Clan struggling to survive in a harsh mountain region as they attempt to build a “Valhalla on Earth.” Valhalla Hills challenges players to build a new Viking civilization worthy of Odin himself, while surviving near-daily peril.
The Early Access release of Valhalla Hills is fully playable, but will be continuously optimized and enhanced until final release in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Ubisoft today announced that the Might and Magic Heroes VII second closed beta will start on August 26th at 7am EST and last until September 2nd at 7am EST. Players that have pre-ordered the game will still have guaranteed access to the second closed beta but thanks to beta key giveaways it will be playable beyond. Might & Magic Heroes VII will be available exclusively on PC on September 29th.
This second closed beta will give players the opportunity to dive deeper into the gameplay of the Haven and Academy factions, and will give access to two extra factions voted by the community itself for the first time: Sylvan and Dungeon. In addition to the two Skirmish maps (The Dried Lands and the Bad Neighbours) playable during the first closed beta, beta testers will also be able to explore two new Skirmish maps: the Fire & Blood and the Irresponsible War. They will be able to produce resources, expand their town, recruit armies and develop their heroes in an effort to infiltrate their opponent’s empire. There is no maximum level set for the closed beta and players will have unlimited access to the content until September 2nd.
Next month, the Rockstar Editor officially makes its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as part of the next downloadable update for Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online. This update will also bring with it some new features for the Rockstar Editor that will be available for all three platforms including PC, along with some new gameplay for GTA Online Freemode that Rockstar will be sharing more about in the coming weeks.
