Void Terrarium++ is coming to PS5 on May 18th

NIS America today announced that its first PlayStation 5 title, Void Terrarium++, is releasing on May 18th. Void Terrarium++ looks and performs better than ever on PS5, and comes bundled with additional content like new emotes, outfits, hairstyles, diseases, and an all new environment to explore while maintaining the visual style, roguelike gameplay, and caretaking system from its predecessor.

Star Wars Republic Commando Coming to PS4 and Switch on April 6th

Aspyr Media today announced that they are bringing Star Wars Republic Commando to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 6th. The game was originally released in 2005 on Xbox and PC, this re-release will feature updated controls and trophy support.

Anno 1800’s First DLC of Season 3, Docklands, is Available Now

Starting today, Anno 1800 players can build in Docklands, the first DLC of Anno 1800’s third season. Players will be able to build a modular warehouse district starting with the main building inspired by the world-famous “Speicherstadt,” the world’s largest warehouse district and an UNESCO World Heritage site in Hamburg, Germany. Each added module comes with a different effect, including increased loading speed or faster repair times. Docklands can integrate naturally into every game session, giving players more options for individualization and ways to reach certain goals easier.

Alongside the first DLC of Season 3, Anno 1800 is releasing a free Game Update #10 for all players, containing:

  • Improvements to the trade route menu
  • Possibility to turn harbor quays into streets to connect buildings
  • Cosmetic DLC ornaments to improve a city’s attractivity

Hitman 3’s First Major Patch is Live

The first major patch for Hitman 3 has gone live, bringing several enhancements and new content to the game including the following:

  • A new unlockable costume available for all players (The Tactical Turtleneck)
  • Two new Deluxe Escalations
  • New HUD additions and tweaks
  • Stability and connectivity fixes
  • Location-specific tweaks for every level in Hitman 3
  • PSVR-specific tweaks and fixes

Introducing the Next Generation of VR on PlayStation

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the first details about its next-generation VR system coming to the PlayStation 5. In PlayStation’s latest blog post, Senior Vice President, Platform Planning and Management Hideaki Nishino provides an early update about the VR system, with more details to come in the future.

The new system will bring dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity. Features will include single-cord connectivity which will enable a high-fidelity visual experience and improve ease-of-use, among other enhancements. Nishino says one of the innovations PlayStation is excited about is a new VR controller, which will incorporate some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller.

Persona 5 Strikers is Out Now

Atlus today announced that Persona 5 Strikers is available now for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. As the Phantom Thieves investigate a series of strange cases occurring across Japan, they discover another realm where innocent people are being jailed and forced to forfeit their hearts’ desires by the whims of its ruler. In typical Phantom Thieves style, they’re going to use everything they’ve got to liberate the imprisoned, return their hearts, and strike back against the corruption.

Bandai Namco Acquires Minority Stake in Limbic Entertainment

Bandai Namco today announced the acquisition of a minority stake in German development studio Limbic Entertainment. The studio, comprised of more than 80 employees, will leverage its expertise working on titles such as Tropico 6, Memories of Mars, and the Heroes of Might & Magic brand to develop two brand new franchises for Bandai Namco.

PlayStation’s ‘Play at Home’ Initiative Kicks Off with Free Download of Ratchet & Clank PS4

To kick off Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Play at Home initiative, Ratchet & Clank for PlayStation 4 will be available for free download for a limited time through the PlayStation Store beginning March 1st through March 31st. This is the first of a number of offerings PlayStation will make as part of Play at Home. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
