Today at Sony’s State of Play event, Bethesda Softworks revealed a new trailer for Arkane Lyon’s first-person shooter Deathloop, featuring new PlayStation 5 gameplay that showcases one of the many times Colt will take down Ramblin’ Frank Spicer and his crew. Frank and his fellow Visionaries will do whatever it takes to keep their time loop intact and deny Colt a way off the island of Blackreef.
The trailer also unveils a new original song, Déjà Vu, which combines a classic 1960’s spy film-inspired tune with the peculiar themes of Blackreef island to create a track that’s sure to repeatedly loop in your head. Déjà Vu was created by Sencit Music featuring musical artist FJØRA.
Deathloop is launching exclusively on console for the PlayStation 5 and PC.

Today, indie and publisher Unknown Worlds Entertainment announced that Subnautica: Below Zero will launch on May 14th for PC via Steam and Epic Game Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in both physical and digital editions for $29.99 USD.

Today during Sony’s State of Play event, Oddworld Inhabitants debuted a new video revealing that Oddworld: Soulstorm will launch on April 6th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Game Store. In addition, the game will be one of the PlayStation Plus games for April 2021; members will be able to download the PS5 version of the game at no extra cost during that time.
Today at Sony’s State of Play event, Ember Lab debuted a new trailer for Kena: Bridge of Spirits, giving fans a deeper look at gameplay, new locations, and some of the characters you will meet on your journey. The story-driven action adventure game will be available on August 24th for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Game Store.
Indie development studio Sloclap revealed its next title today during the Sony PlayStation State of Play showcase – Sifu. The followup to 2017’s multiplayer game Absolver, Sifu is an artful and true-to-combat Kung Fu game exploring themes of revenge and redemption launching this fall on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Featuring the intensity of classic Kung Fu films with realistic and raw combat, Sifu tells the story of a young Kung Fu student who has spent their life training for a day of reckoning after the brutal murder of their entire family by a mysterious assassination squad. Hunt down the murderers one by one as you explore gang-ridden suburbs, hidden corners deep within the city, all the way to the cold hallways of corporate towers. Adaptation and careful positioning are the key to your survival and you must use everything at your disposal to succeed in your life’s mission.
Today, players got a deeper look at EA and Velan’s Knockout City during Sony’s State of Play event, putting more of the game’s multiplayer dodgebrawl on display.
The team at Velan Studios also revealed that a cross-play beta for Knockout City will take place April 2-4, giving more players a chance to brawl it out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This next beta will include new gameplay features like the Back Alley Brawl map, the Sniper Ball, customizations and 1v1 Face-Off playlist. In total, the cross-play beta will include four maps, five different balls, two modes (3v3 and 1v1) and unlock more customization items. Fans can sign up here, with more details to come.
During PlayStation’s State of Play broadcast today, Annapurna Interactive and Heart Machine revealed new narrated gameplay for Solar Ash, which will launch later this year for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as on PC via the Epic Game Store.
Square Enix today announced that the free playable demo for Outriders, the RPG-Shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix External Studios, is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as Steam and GeForce Now on PC.
Players can experience the full opening chapter of the Outriders campaign, up to three hours of gameplay per playthrough. The demo allows multiple characters and enables players to try out all four classes in the game: Devastator, Pyromancer, Technomancer and Trickster. Co-op multiplayer is available in the demo and will unlock after players finish the prologue, including a beta version of the full crossplay system that will be available at launch. Progress in the campaign will transfer to the full game for players who purchase Outriders on the same platform.
Capcom today announced that Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is available now for digital download from Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch for $29.99 USD. Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is a modern reboot of the classic Capcom series Ghosts ‘n Goblins, complete with storybook-like graphics and challenging action platforming gameplay. The newest entry in the franchise finds the fearless knight Arthur in a new adventure inspired by the original Ghosts ‘n Goblins and its sequel, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts.
