Microsoft today announced five significant titles from Bethesda – all freshly available with Xbox Game Pass – are receiving updates to enable FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S. The titles now available with FPS Boost are:
Gamers can expect to see an increase from 30 fps to nearly 60 fps with FPS Boost for the above titles. To experience FPS Boost, make sure your console has the latest update installed and the FPS Boost function is turned on in “Compatibility Options” under the “Manage Game” section.
Nintendo today revealed the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Fortnite Fleet Force Bundle. The Joy-Con Fortnite Fleet Force Bundle includes a uniquely designed blue Joy-Con (L) and a yellow Joy-Con (R) emblazoned with Fortnite banana imagery. It also includes 500 V-Bucks and a download code for an in-game Glider and Pickaxe. The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Fornite Fleet Force Bundle will be launching June 4th.
Today, 2K announced the sixth and final DLC pack in the Civilization VI – New Frontier Pass – the Portugal Pack – will be launching on March 25th. The Portugal Pack includes a new leader and civilization, the new optional game mode Zombie Defense, two new World Wonders in the Torre de Belém and Etemenanki and a new Wetlands map script.

Paradox Interactive today announced an upcoming digital event for fans, partners, and gamers worldwide: PDXCON Remixed, an online-only adaptation of its community celebration event. PDXCON Remixed will be an interactive event taking place on May 21-23, 2021, and will be free to attend and participate in for everybody. The event will include announcements (a new game from Paradox Development Studio will be revealed for the first time), panels and presentations from developers and designers, and interactive content spread across three days of streaming.
Paradox Interactive announced today that development has resumed on Surviving Mars, the survival colony builder set on the Red Planet, under Abstraction Games. To Celebrate the return to Mars, Paradox will launch an In-Dome Buildings Pack and a free Tourism Update available to all Surviving Mars players this Monday, March 15th.
The Tourism Update is free for all Surviving Mars players and revamps tourists, introduces a RC Safari, adds buildings, and more. With this update, players can expect to see some of their most-requested tourism features, such as Holiday Experience rating rewards and consequences.
Paradox and Abstraction also revealed that a fully-featured Surviving Mars expansion is in the works and will launch sometime later in 2021.
This weekend Paradox Interactive announced that Nemesis, the newest expansion for Stellaris where players can become the crisis or rally the galaxy against it, will be available on April 15th. Nemesis will give fans the most powerful tools ever available in Stellaris, introducing brand new Espionage gameplay mechanics and the ability to literally become the endgame crisis.
Additionally, Paradox announced that Stellaris: Console Edition gamers will be able to get their hands on the Lithoids Species Pack on April 25th. Accompanying this release will be the free 2.6 update, re-working the game’s economic systems.
Activision today announced that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The game will also launch on PC via Battle.net on March 26th.
Earlier today, Xbox and Bethesda announced during their roundtable discussion that 20 of Bethesda’s most iconic games – including games from franchises like Dishonored, DOOM, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Wolfenstein – will be brought to Xbox Game Pass members starting tomorrow, March 12th as a way to celebrate welcoming ZeniMax Media and Bethesda to the Xbox family.
