Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios today announced Homefront: The Revolution is now available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Revealed today are also further details on the Expansion Pass. The Homefront: The Revolution Expansion Pass includes access to the three single-player campaign expansions. It also unlocks exclusive bonuses for use in Homefront’s online co-operative experience, ‘Resistance Mode.’
Coming in 2016, The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath will both add new districts and several hours of original single-player content that complement Homefront’s 30-hour campaign. A much larger expansion – Beyond the Walls – will follow in 2017, with more details to come.
Expansion Pass holders also benefit from these Resistance Mode perks:
In addition to the 30-hour single player campaign, Homefront’s online co-operative ‘Resistance Mode’ will launch with six Missions, with the first set of new Missions set to arrive in June. All additional Resistance Mode missions will be free, and Dambuster Studios are committed to delivering added content updates for the first year at no extra cost.
Bandai Namco today announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently in development at Japan based developer DIMPS and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam in 2016.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will deliver a new hub city and the most character customization choices to date among a multitude of new features and special upgrades. Additional details and features will be revealed at E3 2016.
PopCap Vancouver today announced Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One, the next free major content update to Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 that introduces a new map, two brand new characters and over 1,200 new character customization items. Trouble in Zombopolis is free for all players and releases just in time for summer on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin on PC. Players can jump into the biggest zombie map ever built – Zombopolis – and battle their way through dark, undiscovered sewers and down the Brain Street Strip. New heroes Toxic Citron and Breakfast Brainz face off in the ultimate showdown while Dr. Zomboss hatches an evil plan to exterminate plant-kind.
Finnish game developer Frozenbyte today released Shadwen, a stealth-action game set in a gritty medieval world of kings and assassins. Shadwen is available for purchase on PlayStation 4 from PlayStation Network, and PC via Steam, GOG.com, Humble Store, Origin, and the GeForce NOW store, with more to be added later.
Dead Mage today announced that their latest action platformer, Shadow Blade: Reload, will be available for the PlayStation 4 on May 31st.
NIS America today announced that Phantom Brave will be arriving on Steam this July. The port is based off the Wii release, Phantom Brave: We Meet Again and also includes all additional content found in the PSP version, Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle.
All things Yo-kai continue on September 30th when Yo-kai Watch 2 launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The new adventure offers many new areas to explore outside of Springdale, more than 100 new Yo-kai, a new-and-improved in-game Yo-kai Watch, and even the ability to travel back in time. Yo-kai Watch 2 will also launch with two versions, Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls, each featuring rare Yo-kai that can only be found in their respective games.
The NPD Group has released its retail report for the month of April. Software and hardware sales were down year-over-year in April, by 21% and 23% respectively. Overall, total industry sales were down 15% to $598.1 million. Once again, PlayStation 4 was the top-selling hardware platform and the software sales leader in April.
