The yellow 80’s icon with a voracious appetite celebrates his 36th anniversary with the announcement that the Pac-Man 256 mobile game is now coming to consoles and PC. In addition to the social sharing options and 10 unlockable themes, you’ll be able to play with up to 4 friends via the local co-op multiplayer mode. Players will have to work together to eat all Pac-Dots & Power Pellets, and overcome the notorious ghost ensemble of Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Daybreak Games has released a new competitive game mode for H1Z1: King of the Kill called Ignition. Like the Battle Royale mode, Ignition is a fight-to-the-death struggle for resources and survival against up to 150 other players – with a twist.
Rather than parachuting into the action, Ignition starts each challenger off with their very own ATV and a pack of explosives strapped to their body. Players have a limited amount of time to scavenge for weapons and equipment before making their way to one of several safe zones. Anyone who fails to reach sanctuary before the countdown expires will trigger their devices, eliminating them from the match. Players that leave the safe zone before the detonation timer resets for the next wave will meet a similar fate.
Safe areas will decrease in number and change positions on the map as matches progress. The time allotted to reach shelter will also decrease with each round, making later waves even more intense as players rocket at full speed toward the final havens. Airdrops will occur throughout the match, each including a fully loaded off-road vehicle, making life easier for those willing to take the risk.
