Rocket League Cross-Network Play Arrives on Xbox One and Steam

Psyonix announced today that the sports-action title, Rocket League, now supports cross-­network play between the Xbox One and Steam PC versions, making it the first-ever Xbox One game to do so. With this new addition, players can now easily include (or not include) cross-network rivals in both public and private matches, thanks to an easy-to-find toggle check box in the Options menu.

Dungeons 2 Out Now on PS4

Kalypso Media today announced the release of Dungeons 2 on the PlayStation 4.

A console exclusive for the PS4, Dungeons 2 challenges players to assume the role of The Dungeon Lord and craft a network of terrifying dungeons, using its resources to fuel a campaign of terror against the forces of goodliness. Order your servant snots to do your bidding and fill your coffers with gold, amass an army of lurching minions and then head to the surface world of the humans to conquer The Overworld.

Dungeons 2 PlayStation 4 edition boasts a collection of additional on-disc content including the ‘Pixieville,’ ‘Morningwood,’ ‘A Chance of Dragons,’ ‘A Song of Sand and Fire,’ and ‘A Clash of Pumpkins’ add-on packs.

Celebrate Games with Gold Turning Three with June’s Free Games

In June, Games with Gold celebrates its third birthday by offering a special lineup to open up the summer: Xbox One will get two dedicated titles, and two Xbox 360 titles, as well, through Xbox One Backward Compatibility, for a total of four free titles. Xbox 360 gamers, of course, also get access to the latter two titles.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Goat Simulator throughout June. The Crew is also being offered starting June 16th through July 15th. On Xbox 360 and Xbox One with Backward Compatibility, starting June 1st Super Meat Boy will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through June 15th. Then on June 16th, Xbox Live Gold members can download XCOM: Enemy Unknown for free through June 30th.

Deadlight: Director’s Cut Unveils Survival Arena Mode

Deep Silver today showcases the Survival Arena Mode exclusive for Deadlight: Director’s Cut. In order to handle the oncoming wave of zombies, the player will need to act swiftly and decide wisely on which course of action will prolong their survival. The PS4 and Xbox One versions also include the aptly named Nightmare Mode, which reveals an alternate ending upon completing the game. Deadlight: Director’s Cut will be available digitally on June 21st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for $19.99.

Overwatch is Live on Console and PC

After drawing more than 9.7 million players to Blizzard Entertainment’s biggest open beta ever, Overwatch — the company’s team-based first-person shooter — is now live on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Gamers can join the fight for the future today by purchasing Overwatch: Origins Edition for $59.99 from www.playoverwatch.com/buy. Overwatch: Origins Edition comes with a collection of hero skins that provide players with insight into five characters’ pasts — Blackwatch Reyes (Reaper), Strike-Commander Morrison (Soldier: 76), Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, and Slipstream Tracer — as well as a cache of goodies for several Blizzard Entertainment games, including glowing Mercy wings for Diablo III, a Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft, a set of heroic StarCraft II portraits, an Overwatch-themed Hearthstone card back, and the playable Tracer hero for Heroes of the Storm.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Launches

Activision, Nickelodeon and PlatinumGames today released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, a new action game starring New York City’s Heroes in a Half-Shell – Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is a third-person, team-based brawler that can be enjoyed alone or with up to four players in online cooperative multiplayer. Dish out justice to huge swarms of enemies, and stand strong against hard-hitting, fan-favorite villains like Shredder, General Krang, Karai, Bebop, Rocksteady, Armaggon, Wingnut and Slash.
