Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced Neverwinter: Storm King’s Thunder, the newest expansion in tandem with Wizards of the Coast’s latest Dungeons & Dragons story, will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 18th. This adventure sends players back to Icewind Dale to face off against invading giants, while braving their way through three new adventure zones and a new dungeon.
Sierra has revealed that King’s Quest – Chapter 4: Snow Place Like Home, the penultimate chapter in the new King’s Quest adventure developed by The Odd Gentlemen, is expected to release on September 27th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC via Steam.
King’s Quest – Chapter 4: Snow Place Like Home opens on the fateful night when King Graham and Queen Valanice’s infant child Alexander was stolen from them. When Alexander mysteriously returns home 18 years later, however, Graham must decide how to reconnect with the boy he’s spent a lifetime searching for. And as father and son work together to solve the towering challenges of the puzzling Ice Palace, questions linger about just what happened all those years ago.
King’s Quest: The Complete Collection (a bundle containing all five chapters of the game with a bonus playable story epilogue) and the King’s Quest Season Pass (a digital bundle containing Chapters 2-5) are available now as digital purchases through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store and Steam. Bandai Namco today announced Dragon Ball Fusions, a new portable Dragon Ball Action-RPG experience for the Nintendo 3DS launching December 13th.
Dragon Ball Fusions is an Action-RPG game that combines fighting, customization, and collecting elements to bring the Dragon Ball world to life. The game features a roster of character appearances stretching across Dragon Ball all the way to Dragon Ball Super. Players will have the opportunity to enter an all new original Dragon Ball story in Dragon Ball Fusions’ Adventure mode or prove their fighting prowess in Multiplayer Battle mode. Dragon Ball Fusions also enables players to combine the powers between characters to create combinations of powerful characters. Players looking to share their Dragon Ball Fusions fun will be able to use the Nintendo 3DS’ camera to take pictures with friends and fuse them with Dragon Ball characters or trade special moves with nearby players.
Microsoft today revealed the Xbox Games with Gold offering for October. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings throughout October. The Escapists is also being offered starting October 16th through November 15th. On Xbox 360 and Xbox One with Backward Compatibility, starting October 1st, MX vs. ATV Reflex will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through October 15th. Then on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold members can download I Am Alive for free through October 31st.

XSEED Games today announced that the bullet hell-inspired action RPG, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity, is now available digitally exclusively for the PlayStation 4 from the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

Atlus today announced that Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse is now available in retail stores and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. The game is the latest entry of the Shin Megami Tensei JRPG series where players both fight and recruit demons as a means to defy the gods. The timeline of Apocalypse overlaps the original Shin Megami Tensei IV but is not a direct sequel. It also features enhancements such as a refined combat system, streamlined quest mechanics, legendary difficulty, improved overworld map and more. Plus, it’s a completely new story told from the perspective of the oppressed survivors of the ruins of Tokyo.
