Adventurers can journey into the World of Final Fantasy with the playable demo now available from the PlayStation Store.
Players can get a feel for the unique evolution of the classic “active time battle” system as they capture and raise companion monsters called Mirages, customizing a variety of stacks and upgrading Mirage Boards to unlock special skills and attacks. Additionally, legendary characters from the Final Fantasy franchise, including Faris (Final Fantasy V) and Cloud (Final Fantasy VII) will appear. Players who complete the demo will unlock the ability to obtain “Magitek Armor P” in the Coliseum when playing the full version of the game.
World of Final Fantasy will arrive on October 25th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Tripwire Interactive debuts the first footage from Killing Floor 2, enhanced for the PlayStation 4 Pro. The co-op sci-fi horror first-person shooter will be available on November 18th for the PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, and PC.
This past weekend, Square Enix unveiled the second expansion to Final Fantasy XIV during its Fan Festival in Las Vegas.
The Stormblood teaser trailer showcases the Warrior of Light honing his new skills during a high-octane sparring match with a mysterious woman clad in red atop a colossal stone statue, while resistance fighters prepare for battle below. The new expansion will include new jobs; an increased level cap up to level 70; sprawling new areas to explore; a revamped battle system; and all-new dungeons, raids, and alliance battle content.
The summer 2017 release of Stormblood will also mark the end of PlayStation 3 support of Final Fantasy XIV. During the keynote, Square Enix detailed plans for a free upgrade service to the PlayStation 4 version, which will allow for players on the PlayStation 3 to seamlessly continue their adventures following the launch of Stormblood.
CI Games today announced a new release date of April 4th for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, so it may further polish and optimize its upcoming game currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For the first time, Portal Masters can create their own Skylanders, designing the wildest characters imaginable including customizing appearance, powers, abilities, names, catchphrases, musical themes and much more. Team17 and indie developer Ghost Town Games today revealed that their couch co-op cooking game Overcooked will be available with the new Lost Morsel content pack in a retail boxed version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 15th for $19.99.
The Lost Morsel content pack, included in the Gourmet Edition of Overcooked, continues the culinary adventure through six new campaign levels, featuring new kitchens set in a jungle world, a new vehicle to navigate the world map in and six new chef characters to unlock.
The Lost Morsel DLC will launch digitally for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 15th for $4.99, while the Gourmet Edition digital bundle will also be available for $19.99.
Sierra today announced that King’s Quest – Chapter 5: The Good Knight, the finale of the new King’s Quest series developed by The Odd Gentlemen, is expected to release on October 25th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC via Steam.
