Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Become Fastest Selling Nintendo Games

After becoming the most pre-ordered video games in Nintendo history, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon – the latest games in the Pokémon franchise – have now become the fastest-selling games that Nintendo has ever launched in the Americas. In less than two weeks, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS sold a combined total of 3.7 million units. That’s an 85% increase over Pokémon X and Pokémon Y – the previous record holders for Nintendo’s fastest-selling games – during the same period when these games launched in 2013.

Rainbow Six: Siege Year 2 Pass Available Today

Today, Ubisoft celebrates the one year anniversary of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege by announcing that the Year 2 Pass is available now for $39.99. The Year 2 Pass will also be available in the Year 2 Gold Edition which also includes the base game for $69.99, and the Complete Edition which includes the base game and a bundle of all Year One operators, for $99.99.

This new year-long premium membership will feature exclusive early access to eight new operators that will be released alongside Seasons throughout the year, and equivalent VIP benefits as the first year premium membership, including a boost to allow players to unlock content quicker, headgear, battle dress uniform and more. Additionally, the Obsidian Universal Skin is available to those that order before February 7th. Owners of the original Season Pass will receive an additional 600 R6 Credits when they purchase the Year 2 Pass.

This Year 2 content seeks to enrich the Rainbow Six: Siege community experience, notably with four new counter terrorism units issued from four new countries: Spain, Hong Kong, Poland and South Korea.

Games of Glory Coming to PS4 in Early 2017

Indie studio Lightbulb Crew today announced that its top-down team shooter, Games of Glory, will be coming to PlayStation 4. In Games of Glory, players must work together in fast-paced 5v5 or 3v3 matches using a combination of free-aiming shooter mechanics, close combat controls and unique character skills to defeat the opposing team. Games of Glory will be available with cross-platform play between PlayStation 4 and Steam when it launches as a free-to-play gameplay experience in early 2017.

Yonder Coming to PS4 and PC in Q2 2017

Prideful Sloth today announced that Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, an open-world adventure, will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC in Q2 2017. Yonder will make its public debut at PlayStation Experience 2016.

Yonder shipwrecks players on the island of Gemea, a land enshrouded in an evil murk. By exploring the land, joining forces with the locals and contributing to their community through optional talents like farming, crafting, cooking, fishing and brewing, adventurers can help the island flourish.

Techland and inXile today revealed the ‘Jack’ – the third new character class making its debut in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Jack offers quick wit, cunning play and charm, but is not limited to one skill or tactic, essentially making him the Jack of all trades. Players who want to explore and truly interact with their surrounding and the characters inhabiting the world need look no further. Tripwire Interactive has released a new trailer highlighting the customization options for their upcoming tactical FPS, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.

Today, THQ Nordic wants to introduce to you another one of Tungdil’s companions: Djerun, the ten feat high chunk of metal and bodyguard of the Maga Andokai.

Be careful where to unleash this combat machine because many of his special attacks will hurt not only his enemies, but also his allies. Even with his basic attacks this slow melee fighter can hit many foes at once.
