An all-out brawl is coming soon to Steam, as Angry Mob Games today announced their competitive fighting game Brawlout will be launching on Early Access on April 20th and is scheduled to launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Q3 2017. Designed for couch and online play, Brawlout mixes platform fighter mechanics with traditional fighting game moves and pace, doing away with traditional blocking and grabbing to reveal a system based on fluid movement and over the top combos.
Indie games studio Secret Sorcery today released an update for its strategy game Tethered including “Untethered” without-VR support for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. This latest update also boasts two new control methods, adds dusk and dawn checkpoint style save, and slow-motion and fast-forward features to play at your own pace. You can also elect to skip the tutorial and dive straight into the game. For PS4 Pro players, Tethered now supports native 4k resolution at 60fps (only available in ‘Untethered’ mode).
NIS America today announced that the 3D shoot ‘em up fighter Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on July 4th. The PS4 version of the game will also be compatible with PlayStation VR.
Nathanael Weiss, of one-man studio Wizard Fu Games, has recorded a playthrough of Songbringer. The sci-fi adventure procedurally generates overworlds filled with dungeons, characters and tons of secrets for players to discover based off of six-letter seeds. No two adventures are the same – unless you want them to be. Inputting the same seed as another player will generate drop you into a matching world.

Bethesda Softworks today announced the Dishonored 2 free trial, which allows players to dive into the first three missions of the campaign as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano, is now available for download from the game’s store page on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and Steam.
Players that decide to upgrade to the full game will receive 50% off their purchase. Plus anyone who upgrades to the full game during or after the free trial will keep all of the saves made during the trial, and can continue enjoying Dishonored 2’s campaign from where they left off.

Bethesda Softworks today announced that The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood, the first major new content addition for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, is now available for PC. This new story content brings additional missions and cards to the game and returns Elder Scrolls fans to one of their favorite guilds from the franchise – the lethal Dark Brotherhood.
The Fall of The Dark Brotherhood is a new PvE Story that tosses players into the role of a double agent hired to infiltrate the ranks of the fabled Dark Brotherhood. Recruited by a sinister group to bring down the infamous Elder Scrolls guild of lethal assassins, players will need to make key choices that both impact which missions they will play and determine how the story unfolds.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed the new Injustice 2 Shattered Alliances Part 4 trailer that delves deeper into the origins of the villainous alliance know as The Society. Led by the genius telepath Gorilla Grodd, The Society brings together Bane, Cheetah, Catwoman, Captain Cold, Deadshot, Scarecrow and other notorious DC Super-Villains as they fight to fill the power void left by Superman’s defeat.
