Phoenix Labs today released a new trailer for their upcoming online co-op action RPG, Dauntless. The new trailer takes a deeper dive into combat, progression, and how Slayers survive against the Behemoths in the game.
This new trailer features a brand new Behemoth Skraev for the first time. Skraev thrives in colder climates and wields deadly frost attacks. While he may bear a resemblance to the previously-announced Behemoth Shrike, Skraev is a completely different encounter, boasting new attacks and challenges for Slayers.
The trailer also showcases the Chain Blades – the fourth weapon class in Dauntless. The Chain Blades are all about creating your own opportunities in combat, featuring a blend of short range combos and long range poke attacks. They enable Slayers to get in quick, unleash a flurry of attacks, and get out fast.
Dauntless is coming to PC in 2017.
Telltale Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, today revealed the first trailer for ‘Under Pressure,’ the second of five Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series episodes, which will be available starting June 6th for $4.99 USD. Data capture of Ronaldo’s acceleration, run cadence, skills, and shooting technique were all recorded to bring veracity to his likeness and personality in FIFA 18. His data also informed important gameplay elements including fluidity, player responsiveness and explosiveness. In one of the moons of Saturn, a scientific expedition from earth discovers the remains of a space ship stranded millions of years ago. The explorers enter the ruins and discover Aleph, an incredible power source that is the key to interstellar travel. Motivated by private interest and corporate greed, the organisation sends a group of paramilitary factions to the Broken Planet. On arrival, an accident renders the paramilitaries technology useless and the factions begin a battle for supremacy, Aleph and the alien technology that can return them back to earth.

As a heartfelt thanks to the patience of its community, indie developer Saber Interactive has announced that anyone who purchased the recently released NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch prior to a pending update which will bring online play functionality to the game will receive a free copy of Saber’s Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn on Nintendo Switch when it launches this fall.

In addition, the first update for NBA Playgrounds is now live for PC and PlayStation 4, and will be live for Xbox One and Switch within days. 15 new players have been added, including Isaiah Thomas and Dennis Rodman, and Shaq can now be played with the various teams from his career. Challenge Mode, which allows players to challenge each other to online matches, has been added to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, and will be added to the Nintendo Switch version once online play is live. Other additions include a new connection manager, which monitors the connection of players during ranked matches and penalizes disconnections from games that are made to avoid losing. Saber has also tweaked the entire shooting system, reworking the timing and adding a meter while clarifying the UI.
Saber’s focus going forward will be giving players new ways to compete with online tournament functionality, and dozens of new players will be released shortly.
