Infinite Minigolf Coming to Consoles and PC on July 25th

Zen Studios today announced the upcoming release of Infinite Minigolf on July 25th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam, including HTC Vive and Oculus Rift compatibility.

Zen Studios also confirmed cross-platform user created course sharing. Players can create and share courses with the Infinite Minigolf community wherever they are playing. If a course is created and shared via Steam, the same course will be shared with players on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch (and vise versa).

Ys Seven Coming to PC this Summer

XSEED Games today announced that Ys Seven, developer Nihon Falcom’s first entry in a new generation of its series of action RPGs, is headed to PC via Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store by Humble Bundle this summer. Originally released for the PlayStation Portable in 2010, Ys Seven will arrive on PC with full HD, a smooth 60fps framerate, plug-and-play controller compatibility, and achievements on applicable platforms such as Steamworks and GOG Galaxy.

Geese Howard Joins the Next Battle in Tekken 7

Tekken 7 is bringing another famous guest character to join the next battle with Geese Howard from the Fatal Fury franchise. Sporting his signature red hakama training pants and white uwagi top, Geese is ready to wield heavy kicks and punches as he takes on the likes of Heihachi, Paul, Akuma, and the rest of the Tekken 7 fighters when he enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament in Winter 2017.

Trunks Next to Join Dragon Ball FighterZ

EVO 2017 proved to be an exciting event for Dragon Ball FighterZ with the announcement of Trunks as the next character to join the fighting game’s character roster.

Also announced at EVO 2017 is the impending start of the Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 which will feature nine playable characters for fans to take into battle. Additional information about the closed beta will be revealed soon.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is slated for an early 2018 launch on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta Revealed

At the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) in Las Vegas, Square Enix announced that registration for the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta is now open to select PlayStation 4 players. Fans can sign up for a chance to participate in the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta test at http://sqex.to/DissidiaCB. Those who are chosen will receive an e-mail with the registration code and more information on how to opt into the Closed Beta.

This summer, the Closed Beta will let fighting game fans get hands-on with the team-based brawler as they play the roles of heroes and villains from the Final Fantasy franchise, take part in 3 vs. 3 battles across iconic arenas and invoke the help of classic summons including Ifrit, Shiva and Odin.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be available for the PlayStation 4 early 2018.

Star Wars Battlefront II: Behind the Story Trailer

Star Wars Battlefront II is bringing an all new hero into the fold with the introduction of Iden Versio, the Commander of the Imperial special forces team known as the Inferno Squad. The game’s single player campaign will introduce fans to a story told from the unique perspective of the empire that helps bridge the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Along with a new hero, the story will also bring fans to new locations like Iden’s home planet of Vardos and other new elements authentic to the larger Star Wars universe, as a result of the close collaboration with Motive and Lucasfilm Story group who worked hand in hand through every step of the process.

Kingdom Hearts III Goes to Infinity and Beyond

Square Enix and Disney today unveiled a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer that shines a spotlight on the first world in the Kingdom Hearts series to be based on a Disney•Pixar film, “Toy Story.” Director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura, premiered the trailer during The Walt Disney Company’s Video Game Showcase at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.

The new trailer follows Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy to Andy’s room as they join Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Rex and Sarge’s investigation into the disappearance of their fellow toys and Andy, and the emergence of the Heartless enemies in their world. Featuring an original storyline, fans will get a first look at the trio’s “Toy Story”-themed looks, all-new toys, such as the Gigas, and special Keyblades that transform and give Sora unique attacks to unleash on Heartless enemies.

Kingdom Hearts III will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.

“Her Story” Creator Announces Upcoming Game, “Telling Lies”

Sam Barlow, creator of the narrative game Her Story, today announced his latest project, Telling Lies. Published by Annapurna Interactive, Telling Lies will be an all-new narrative game that will expand upon the unique format of Her Story by delving into multiple characters, exploring the extent to which we can ever truly know those we love.

Drawing upon Annapurna Interactive’s resources and relationships, Barlow will be able to raise production values for the new project and work with creatives and talent to suit the game’s ambitions. Annapurna Interactive will directly handle and oversee all of the production tasks for the live-action video component of the game.
