Snail Games announced today that Dark and Light, the dark fantasy multiplayer survival game, will launch on Steam in Early Access on July 20th for $29.99.
Players will be challenged to survive and thrive as they explore a fantasy world, tame magical creatures, craft spells, build a castle and pick to support the darkness or the light in this multiplayer sandbox, survival RPG.
This July marks the 25th anniversary for Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the Tomb Raider franchise. In celebration, the studio has organized a series of charitable events and activities.

On July 25th, fan favorite mode Frontier Defense makes it’s way to Titanfall 2 in the game’s latest free DLC, Operation Frontier Shield. In Frontier Defense, a co-op 4 player mode, players must work together to challenge new enemy types to battle, across five different maps. In addition to the new mode, players will also get two new maps in the update, Rise and Township. In Rise, long sight lines and tight quarters dictate the battle in the abandoned desert reservoir, while in the Live Fire map Township, cover is sparse for Pilots bold enough to leave the safety of a few houses, with dense interiors that can always hold surprises.
In addition to the new mode and maps available for free to all Titanfall 2 players, new purchasable content including Elite Warpaints for weapons and Titans will also be available.
For those who have yet to jump into the action, Respawn will be hosting another free trial for Titanfall 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Origin for PC from July 28th through July 30th.
Skydance Interactive today debuted its first virtual reality game – the first-person shooter Archangel – exclusively on PlayStation VR. Using DualShock 4 or PlayStation Move controllers, players will step into the cockpit to pilot a six-story high war machine and lead their squad mates in a VR battle across the scarred landscapes of a post-apocalyptic America. Archangel is now available from the PlayStation Store for $39.99.
Creative Assembly today announced that the barbaric Norscans will be the latest playable Race added to Total War: Warhammer. Anyone pre-ordering Total War: Warhammer II through a Sega approved retailer before release or buying in the first week on sale will receive the Norsca Race Pack for Total War: Warhammer, free of charge.

This new video provides some key insights from writing consultant Ashly Burch and lead writer Zak Gariss on what it has been like to create a brand new story at a time where the lead character is facing such rawness of hurt, in so many facets of her life.
The video also includes insights from Rhianna Devries, the voice actor playing the younger Chloe in Before the Storm. Rhianna has been working with Season One’s returning voice over director, to ensure the level of performance and emotion is on par with the original game.
