Xbox today announced the general availability for the Xbox Live Creators Program. In an Xbox Wire blog post and video walkthrough with Major Nelson, Director of ID@Xbox, Chris Charla celebrated the general availability for the Creators Program and spotlighted a few of the first games available through the program on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. As Chris mentioned in his Xbox Wire post, “This is an important step for Team Xbox as we continue to deliver a large and diverse lineup of games from creators big and small from around the world.”
Announced at the Game Developer Conference earlier this year, the Creators Program was established to enable developers to directly publish their games to Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, with a simplified certification process and no concept approval required. On Windows 10 PC, these games are in the Games category of the Windows Store; and on Xbox One, these games can be found in the Creators Collection, a special section of the Xbox Store in the Games section.
Indie developer Rock Pocket Games announced today that their new H.P. Lovecraft inspired Martian tale Moons of Madness will blast off to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018. Moons of Madness is a first-person, psychological horror game that explores the internal struggles of astronaut Shane Newehart and the supernatural events that occur on research station Trailblazer Alpha, the first scientific outpost on the planet Mars.
2tainment and developer Moonbyte Games today announced that Crashday: Redline Edition, a newly overhauled edition of the classic arcade racer Crashday, is now available for PC on Steam. Crashday: Redline Edition pays homage to the original Crashday while also adding refreshed visuals and new features, including improved online multiplayer capabilities, seven game modes, new modding functions and an integrated track editor.
Atlus has released a new trailer for Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, showcasing the Fencer class. Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will be available on October 17th for the Nintendo 3DS.
Bethesda Softworks have released the official gameplay trailer for Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. After the events of Dishonored 2, things might finally seem calm for Billie Lurk and her former mentor Daud – but a new storm is brewing in the Empire of the Isles. In the first standalone adventure in the Dishonored series, Billie will play a key role in the bloody battle against the black-eyed bastard himself, the Outsider. Funcom today also revealed the price point for Conan Exiles on Xbox Game Preview: $34.99 USD. Conan Exiles is planned to leave Early Access and see full launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in Q1 2018.

XSEED Games today announced that Ys Seven, developer Nihon Falcom’s first entry in a new generation of its series of action RPGs, will launch on PC via Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store by Humble Bundle on August 30th with a launch week discount of 10% off the regular price of $24.99. The first fully 3D entry in the Ys series, Ys Seven is set to provide a robust offering on PC compared to the original release on PSP in 2010. The title will feature enhanced HD visuals at 60fps, controller support, and other improvements.
