Q.U.B.E. 2 – Early Gameplay Footage

Indie developer Toxic Games today released footage of the Q.U.B.E. 2 demo playable at events including Gamescom, PAX West and EGX. The work in progress footage shows off an early section of the game, introducing the player to the functions of each coloured cube. In Q.U.B.E. 2, as opposed to the prequel, the player now has the power to decide which coloured cubes are placed into the environments.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018.

God Eater 3 Announced

Bandai Namco today announced that it will be bringing God Eater 3, the latest iteration of its monster-slaying action RPG series, to the Americas for home consoles. Team up with other God Eaters equipped with the latest God Arc weapons to take down monstrous new Aragami tearing apart locations around the globe.

The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk Coming October 24th

Kalypso Media today confirmed that the forthcoming adventure sequel The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk will launch on October 24th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, both digitally and as a physical retail edition. It will be available digitally for PC on October 20th. In addition, console boxed retail copies of the game will also include the original game, The Inner World, free of charge.

Episode Four of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Available October 10th

Telltale Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, today revealed the launch trailer for the fourth of five Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series episodes.

Episode four, entitled ‘Who Needs You,’ will be available starting October 10th for $4.99 USD. Individual episodes, and the series as a whole, can be downloaded on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

With the fate of the Eternity Forge decided, the Guardians are left more bitterly divided than ever. But this growing tension is temporarily sidelined by a more pressing problem: escaping a dark and treacherous cavern before they all get eaten alive. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Announced

Capcom today announced Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, an updated version of Street Fighter V that will release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PC on January 16th for $39.99. This new version will include everything from the original release of Street Fighter V, along with the addition of brand new gameplay-related content including Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode, new V-Trigger moves, Gallery, a completely redesigned User Interface and more. Current Street Fighter V players will also receive all of this new content for free via an in-game update when Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition releases.

In addition to the Street Fighter V main game, the following content will be included in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition:

  • Arcade Mode
  • Extra Battle Mode
  • New V-trigger moves
  • Gallery
  • New User Interface
  • Season 1 DLC characters
  • Season 2 DLC characters

In the upcoming Arcade Mode, players can reminisce in the Street Fighter series history as they celebrate the last 30 years of the franchise. Choose from six different paths and compete in matches against CPU opponents to reveal unique endings based on player performance. In Extra Battle Mode, a new series of time exclusive challenges will be available for players to use their Fight Money for the chance to receive an exclusive premium outfit each month. Complete all four challenges each month and receive a special premium costume exclusive to this mode. With extra challenges being added and more unannounced content on the way, Street Fighter V will continue to deliver new and refreshed content on a regular basis throughout 2018 and beyond. More details on the new modes and features, including the new User Interface, will be shared at a later date.

Interactive Entertainment today released a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, starring the charming yet deadly Orc, Bruz the Chopper, who gives viewers a comprehensive overview on everything you need to know about Middle-earth: Shadow of War, in preparation for the game’s launch on October 10th. From a recap on the original story and the characters, to the open world and all of the new features, Bruz has it covered in the Middle-earth: Shadow of War 101 Trailer. The charismatic Olog-hai also helps fans and newcomers with an introduction to the Nemesis System, which adds an entirely new dimension to the game through the introduction of Orc Followers and Nemesis Fortresses, allowing players to create new personal stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge.
