Bethesda Game Studios Reveals First In-Game Look at Starfield

Announced at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Starfield will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11th, 2022 and will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass.

Fallout 76 Steel Reign Update Arrives Free July 7th; Expeditions: The Pitt Coming 2022

Today, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Bethesda Softworks announced Fallout 76 Steel Reign will arrive free for Fallout 76 players on July 7th.

Steel Reign brings the conclusion of the Brotherhood of Steel storyline that launched late last year. You arrive back at Fort Atlas to find the tensions between Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin have reached a boiling point. After swarms of Super Mutants start to appear and people are reported missing, how will you guide the Brotherhood? Will you take the side of justice or will you remain committed to duty?

In addition, Bethesda Softworks announced Expeditions: The Pitt, a free update to Fallout 76 that will take you outside Appalachia, is coming 2022. Expeditions are repeatable and randomized off-site missions to various locales in the Fallout universe.

Age of Empires IV Launching October 28th

Today, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Relic Entertainment announced Age of Empires IV is launching October 28th with Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Windows 10 and Steam.

After April’s Fan Preview event where the developer showed the game in detail for the first time, today they revealed even more at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase about the latest chapter in the Age of Empires franchise, with two new launch civilizations, a newly-revealed campaign, naval combat and the appearance of Joan of Arc.

Playground Games Announces Forza Horizon 5

Today, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Playground Games announced Forza Horizon 5, the follow-up to 2018’s open world driving game Forza Horizon 4, arrives on November 9th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC on Windows and Steam, and Xbox Game Pass including console, PC and Cloud Gaming.

Asobo Studios Announces A Plague Tale: Requiem

Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive today announced A Plague Tale: Requiem, the direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. The heart-rending story of Hugo and Amicia’s struggle for survival in a dark, plague-ridden, medieval world will continue in 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC. A Plague Tale: Requiem will also be released on Nintendo Switch using Nintendo’s cloud-streaming technology.

Hades Coming to Consoles on August 13th, Available on Xbox Game Pass

Today, during the Xbox Games E3 2021 Showcase, Supergiant Games announced that Hades is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on August 13th, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Playing Hades on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S results in a technical boost, with the action running at 4K at a target 60fps. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game perform at 1080p at a target 60fps. In addition, Hades features enhanced controller vibration and lighting on the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.

The PlayStation 4 version of Hades, both physical and digital, include a free upgrade to the digital PlayStation 5 version. The Xbox versions of Hades use Smart Delivery, allowing access to both the Xbox One title and the Xbox Series X|S title.

At the Xbox Showcase today, Annapurna Interactive announced that Twelve Minutes, Luis Antonio’s interactive thriller, will launch on August 19th on Xbox Game Pass and for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game features a cast starring James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe.
