Square Enix today announced Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, revealed as part of the Square Enix Presents livestream at E3. The new action RPG has been made in collaboration with Team Ninja from Koei Tecmo Games, creators of the Ninja Gaiden and Nioh series, and brings a new vision to the Final Fantasy series. Players will be able to purchase Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2022.
The Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin trial version was also announced during the showcase, which gives players the opportunity to experience a taste of the full game centering on Jack and his allies—Ash and Jed — as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine. Square Enix today, during the summer edition of Square Enix Presents, unveiled an exclusive look at Babylon’s Fall, developed in partnership with PlatinumGames Inc. (NieR:Automata). Featuring co-op-combat, powerful weapons and a unique art style, the world of Babylon’s Fall is coming to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The game can be played in parties up to four and will feature a range of post launch game modes at no additional cost. More details will be revealed throughout the year and player recruitment for closed beta testing is now open.

Today, Life is Strange fans were given a deep dive look at the supernatural power that players will control in the series’ next major entry, Life is Strange: True Colors. The details were shared in the company’s Square Enix Presents show, which aired during E3 2021. Developed by Deck Nine Games, the studio behind Life is Strange: Before the Storm, in collaboration with Square Enix External Studios, Life is Strange: True Colors introduces players to Alex Chen, an all-new protagonist who will use her psychic power of empathy to solve a mystery that will make her question everyone and everything she’s come to know in the quaint small town of Haven Springs.
Life is Strange: True Colors is slated for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia on September 10th.
During the Square Enix Presents summer showcase, Square Enix today announced that the six original Final Fantasy titles are coming to life once more in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series. Square Enix will release the beloved titles individually, from Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy VI, for PC via Steam.

Square Enix today teased new footage of the opening cinematic for Legend of Mana, the remastered version of the fourth instalment in the classic Mana series, as part of its Square Enix Presents summer showcase. Legend of Mana will be available digitally on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on June 24th.
Today, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Austin announced Redfall, an open-world co-op FPS from the team behind Prey and Dishonored.
The quaint island town of Redfall, Mass., is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the island off from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors against a horde of creatures threatening to bleed the town dry, players will choose from a roster of heroes and group up with others to create the perfect team of vampire slayers.
Redfall blends single- and multiplayer options seamlessly, allowing the player to venture into the darkness alone or to squad-up with up to three friends for four-player co-op. Teammates can try different hero loadouts and combine their strengths to overcome the vampire legion and their brood of maniacal followers.
