Portal Knights, the cooperative sandbox action-RPG developed by Keen Games and published by 505 Games, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 23rd as a digital download from the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 USD. A physical edition of Portal Knights for Nintendo Switch will be available at most major gaming retailers on February 13th.
In addition to optimizations including touch screen support, online multiplayer and wireless play support, Nintendo Switch players will also have immediate access to the recently released Portal Knights v1.2 update, which provides players access to brand new features and content including Vacant Islands, new boss quests and vanity items, new enemies and more.
Koei Tecmo today announced that Dynasty Warriors 9 will be released on February 13th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Dynasty Warriors 9 will venture into new territory as the “one versus thousands” action, iconic to the Warriors series, is expanded to its first true open world installment.
Koei Tecmo has put together a bundle of bonus content for gamers opting to pick up the physical or standard digital version. Comprised of seven costumes for fan-favorite characters, the bundle includes a Beijing opera-style costume for Zhao Yun and six costumes inspired by traditional Chinese undergarment styles – one each for Guan Yinping, Diaochan, Sun Shangxiang, Lu Lingqi, Wang Yi, and Wang Yuanji.
Team17 today announced that their turn-based strategy game Worms W.M.D will be launching onto Nintendo Switch on November 23rd for $29.99. Beginning today, Final Fantasy XV players can band together and join the Kingsglaive elite force in the game’s first ever online multiplayer expansion, “Comrades.” Taking place after the events of Chapter 13 in the main game, Comrades puts fans in the shoes of the remaining survivors of the Kingsglaive as they fight to restore the Light to the world during Noctis’s absence. To commemorate the release of the expansion, a new game update was also implemented recently allowing players to accept multiple hunt quests at one time and adding new cooking recipes.
In Comrades, players can create and customize their own avatar and partake in quests. As members of the Kingsglaive, players will equip royal sigils that grant special powers from the rulers of old, strategize with one another and create a balanced team in battles against formidable foes and beasts. In addition to multiplayer quests, players can experience the story unfold in a single-player campaign. By using the base of operations in Lestallum, the player can undertake a variety of quests and encounter familiar faces.
Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades is available now for players who purchased the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass. The expansion can also be purchased separately from the Xbox Games Store or PlayStation Store for $19.99.
Obsidian Entertainment, along with publisher Versus Evil, today announced the launch of the closed beta for their upcoming crowdfunded title, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
The closed beta will allow players to try out Deadfire’s new features, such as multiclassing and its overhauled combat system. Obsidian is committed to revealing new features over the next few months, giving those who opted in to the Backer Beta an early peek at the world of the Deadfire. Backers with access to the Backer Beta are encouraged to provide feedback, helping Obsidian make Pillars II an even better experience.

Deep Silver Volition today announced the availability of Agent Safeword in Agents of Mayhem, adding the technological prowess of Saints Row series fan favorite Kinzie Kensington to the band of playable agents fighting to take down Legion.
The Safeword Agent Pack includes a brand new playable agent, which can be used anywhere in the game, hundreds of lines of new dialog and interplay between agents as well as brand new agent missions to play as Kinzie. These new missions allow players to get a deeper dive into her personal backstory.
The upcoming RTS/RPG game SpellForce 3 shows off the first of three playable factions: the Humans of Nortander. The new gameplay video shows the city of Greykeep, the fields of Liannon and the harbors of Everlight, culminating in a battle between rival houses, as the humans are not only fighting against common enemies but also themselves.
SpellForce 3 is launching on December 7th on PC.
