Starbreeze Publishing, together with Behaviour Digital and Lionsgate, today released “The SAW Chapter” for Dead by Daylight.
The SAW Chapter lets players take on the infamous character of Amanda Young, one of Jigsaw’s most well-known protégés, with a brand-new power and feature: the reverse bear trap. In a twist of a classic Dead by Daylight mechanic, Amanda, disguised as The Pig, can place reverse bear traps on survivors, spicing up the game of cat-and-mouse as every second counts for the survivors to escape. The new survivor introduced in the chapter is David Tapp, a relentless cop set on bringing down The Pig. The two will fight it out inside iconic locations from the films.
The SAW chapter is available today for $6.99 on PC via Steam and other digital distribution channels, as well as on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

NIS America has announced that they are once again pushing the PC release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA to an as-of-yet indeterminate date. This latest delay is due to low framrate issues and memory leak problems. This announcement does not affect the relocalization update patch planned for January 30th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game. Once the changes from the relocalization efforts have been implemented, NIS America will be moving development to an entirely different developer who will primarily focus on frame rate improvements as well as other PC optimizations.
