Bandai Namco today released a new trailer for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the upcoming RPG developed by Japanese game studio Level-5. The new trailer focuses on Roland Crane. Having suffered a tragedy in his home world, Roland is transported to Ni no Kuni and becomes a mentor to King Evan as he tries to rebuild his lost kingdom.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on March 23rd.
In the first video of a short series, Nintendo revealed new details about Toy-Con Garage mode, an inventive feature included with the software in each Nintendo Labo kit for the Nintendo Switch. Toy-Con Garage introduces basic principles of technology in a fun way, allowing Nintendo Labo users to combine various inputs and outputs to invent new ways to play.
Between now and the launch of Nintendo Labo on April 20th, Nintendo will release videos showing off more information about different Toy-Con Garage features and tips.
CD Projekt Red, in cooperation with Bandai Namco, today announced that Geralt of Rivia is joining the playable character roster of Soulcalibur VI.
Geralt was trained at the elite School of the Wolf and is considered one of the deadliest monster slayers. He possesses superhuman reflexes and strength, as well as superior sword fighting skills. Players who choose to fight as Geralt will utilize the witcher’s signature fighting style — a combination of swordplay, ability-enhancing potions, and combat magic.
Doug Cockle — the English voice of Geralt of Rivia — returns in Soulcalibur VI to reprise the role. Gamers will also be able to fight in Kaer Morhen — home keep of the School of the Wolf. Accompanying players in battle will be “Hunt or be Hunted” — a composition from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack.
Soulcalibur VI will launch this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Frogwares, together with publisher Bigben Interactive, have released a candid video in which The Sinking City developers show the in’s and out’s of making a public demo. With GDC around the corner, Frogwares are preparing to showcase the game for the first time to the public at GDC San Francisco and EGX Rezzed London.
The video shows the demo’s production process that started back in November, and the difficulties that the team faced when making the demo. It also discusses the ‘ethical’ dilemma that the team faced when preparing the presentation. The video also showcases new, never before shown gameplay and footage from The Sinking City.
The Sinking City is currently in production and will be available in 2018 on PC and consoles.
Team17 and indie developer Radiation Blue today released a new trailer for Genesis Alpha One, a unique mix of roguelike, FPS, base-building and survival elements heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2018.
