Skyhigh Switch Gameplay of Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package

Deep Silver today takes a look at another absurd moment in Saints Row: The Third that brings mayhem to new heights in a new gameplay trailer, which features footage taken directly from Nintendo Switch in TV mode at 1080p.

Episode 2 of Saints Row: The Third Memorable Moments takes place after the failed robbery of The Stilwater 1st National Bank. The Saints are taken to the private plane of Phillipe Loren, bank owner and mastermind behind criminal organization, The Syndicate. Two rival gangs on a plane, 30,000 feet above Stilwater – what could possibly go wrong?

Saints Row: The Third: The Full Package is available May 10th.

Samurai Shodown Introduces Shiki

Welcome Shiki, the latest fighter to be profiled in Samurai Shodown’s weekly character reveal series. Originally debuting in Samurai Shodown 64, Shiki is a mysterious woman with seemingly no past, having awoken on Mt. Osore with no memory of her origins. Forgetting everything but her name, and owning no proof of her identity, she picked up two swords found at the base of the mountain and embarked on her journey. With her unconventional attacks and looks, no swordsman stands a chance against her.

Samurai Shodown will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this June.

World War Z Unveils Post-Launch Content Roadmap

Saber Interactive, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, has announced the first phase in its post-launch content roadmap for World War Z.

In May, a brand-new mission set in Tokyo will drop alongside a zombie type that spits a deadly virus and can resurrect if not properly dispatched. June will bring a new six-skull difficulty setting with a unique reward, as well as bonus cosmetics and more. And in July, players can discover the new Weekly Challenge mode, plus additional cosmetics and other goodies.

Other major upgrades in development for further free updates include a wave-based survival mode, private lobbies, the ability to switch classes during PvPvZ matches, field of view and level of detail sliders on PC, and more.

Life is Strange 2 Episode 3 Launch Trailer

Square Enix presents the trailer for Episode 3 of Life is Strange 2. From Square Enix External Studios and DONTNOD Entertainment, the second season of the franchise continues on May 9th with Episode 3, titled “Wastelands.”

In Episode 3, the long journey from Seattle to Mexico continues as Sean and Daniel Diaz arrive in the Redwood Forests of California, a few months after their dramatic escape from Beaver Creek.

Reunited with Cassidy and Finn, the brothers experience life on the fringes of society as they befriend a close-knit community of drifters and runaways, and begin working on an illegal farm in an attempt to scrape together enough money to continue their journey.

New friendships, relationships, and mentors influence Sean and Daniel, encouraging them to learn more about themselves and each other. Friction arises between the brothers and their resolve is tested once again. As tensions rise, can their strong bond survive?

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Coming June 18th

505 Games will bring the gothic horror side-scrolling action RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and GOG on June 18th. The company also unveiled plans to release the Igavania game for the Nintendo Switch on June 25th.

Borderlands 3 Gameplay Reveal

Yesterday, Gearbox Software and 2K livestreamed the first ever look at Borderlands 3 in action, with an extended presentation featuring live gameplay and new details about the game’s worlds, weapons, mechanics, and more.

Members of the Gearbox development team demoed two of the game’s four new Vault Hunters: Zane, the seasoned covert operative who wields a variety of high-tech gadgets, and Amara, the melee-focused Siren who can summon ethereal fists to pummel her foes. Together they tackled new sections of classic Borderlands planet Pandora before moving on to an entirely new planet: the futuristic, neon-soaked cityscapes of Promethea.

The presentation was capped by a brand new trailer showing off the scope of Borderlands 3. Catch glimpses of new enemies, locales, and weaponry, with plenty more still come in the months leading up to the game’s September 13th launch.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands Announces New Story Content, Operation Oracle, Coming May 2nd

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands will introduce Operation Oracle, a new narrative arc containing two free missions on May 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be free to play from May 2 to May 5 across all platforms, allowing all players to access the full game, including Operation Oracle.

Playable in single-player or co-op, Operation Oracle sends the Ghosts on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer taken hostage by Unidad. This typical rescue mission will soon turn into something much bigger. Forget what you know about your enemies and friends as you meet Cole D. Walker, a Ghost Team Leader on the hunt for truth.

Neptunia Shooter Heads to Steam on May 21st

Idea Factory International today announced the 8-bit shmup entitled Neptunia Shooter is set to release on PC via Steam this May 21st. Set in a mysterious space dimension, Neptunia Shooter also includes an online leaderboard where players from around the world can duke it out and see who has the highest score. Alongside the release date announcement, IFI also have a brand-new announcement trailer that showcases Neptune and several other playable characters including Compa, IF, Noire, and Vert.
