Indie game developer and publisher Playwing today announced that their free-to-play multiplayer arena shooter, Century: Age of Ashes, is now available on Steam, with three competitive game modes, and will follow shortly on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10/11 and consoles in 2022.
2K today announced that Season 3 of NBA 2K22 will be available this Friday, December 3rd. Today, Ubisoft announced that High Calibre, the fourth and final season of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 6, is now available on all platforms. This new season brings new updates with the addition of the Irish operator Thorn, the rework of the map Outback, new default colors of the teams, and a new Battle Pass featuring a new exotic weapon skin, amongst other updates.
In High Calibre, players will discover a brand-new defender: Thorn, equipped with the Razorbloom Shell: a throwable proximity device that once triggered initiate a timed blast. If an enemy player doesn’t get out of the area of effect on time, they will receive damage at the end of the fuse timer. Thorn is a medium speed, medium armor Operator, and her loadout consists of the new custom made UZK50Gi or the M870 as primary weapons and the 1911 TACOPS or the C75-AUTO as secondary weapons.
In addition, the Outback map has been rebuilt to improve balancing and player comfort. Both the main building and its exterior have been tweaked to allow Attackers to create and execute more effective strategies. In addition, new exterior soft walls have been added to the building, and some areas have been refurbished and cleaned up to remove junk and provide better lines of sight and balance.
Unknown creatures are landing in Knockout City on December 7th, kicking off Season 4: Alien Invaders. The city’s Police Commissioner has mobilized the Knockout City Defense Force to combat these intergalactic intruders, and the DJ has teamed up with a mysterious caller in an attempt to contact these cosmic creatures to learn more. Knockout City’s newest season is bringing a plethora of new content, including a map, vehicles, events and more.

Cold Iron Studios today announced that Season 2 of Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be available on December 14th, for players across all platforms.
Following the September release of Season 1: Phalanx, this new season includes free items for all players, including a new mode called Point Defense. This fast-paced alternative to Horde Mode will challenge players in a new survival-based defensive match where your fireteam must protect, repair, and hold 3 different strategic points through multiple attack waves from the xenomorph hive. Players may buy temporary consumables to even the odds by utilizing Fabrication Points earned during the mode and can unlock up to 20 new rewards by completing the mode at various difficulties.

Coinciding with the release of Season 2, the second Endeavor Pass DLC Pack, The Nostromo Salvage Pack, will also be made available. Emerging from a 57-year hypersleep, this pack includes over 20 exclusive items, including two Nostromo-themed class kit skin designs, eight weapon colors, four decals, four head accessories, four emotes, and more. The complete 4-DLC Endeavor Pass is included with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Individual Endeavor Pass cosmetic DLC packs are available separately for $9.99 USD each.
Pack your bags, because you’re headed to Paradise – the new home for Warzone Pacific known as Caldera, kicking off on December 8th. Call of Duty: Vanguard owners will receive 24 hours of exclusive access to Caldera, the brand-new Warzone Pacific map that was built on learnings from the community. Featuring a dedicated Playlist with new vehicles and Vanguard weapons, Warzone Pacific’s first season kicks off another year of free content comprised of 15 areas to explore and fight across. In order for Vanguard players to access Warzone Pacific 24 hours early, they need to have played at least one Vanguard Multiplayer game.
As part of the Season One update, Ricochet Anti-Cheat will deploy a new, internally developed kernel-level driver on PC to assist in identifying cheaters in Warzone. This will allow players to focus more on the new offerings in Warzone Pacific as Ricochet fights unfair play with its new anti-cheat security initiative. This kernel-level driver is coming first to Warzone and will be required for all PC players as of this update.
Caldera and Warzone Pacific are just the beginning for the free content to be offered in Season One of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Stay tuned for additional intel about two free functional weapons, new Operator, Zombies content, Multiplayer modes and two maps all launching on December 8th, including a Pacific-inspired take on a fan-favorite Call of Duty map. Later in the seasons fans can expect two more Operators, an additional core Multiplayer map and returning small-team tactical mode, additional Zombies info, another free weapon unlocked via Challenges and a festive celebration across both games.

Motion Twin and Evil Empire released a teaser trailer today for Dead Cells’ next DLC, The Queen & The Sea, which will hit PC and consoles early next year. The coming DLC promises an ending to the route that the two previous DLCs started with The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls. Priced at $4.99 USD, the new DLC will offer the most generous content update yet for Dead Cells.
