Square Enix announced today that the release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake has been moved to April 10th.

Scavengers Studio today announced that Darwin Project is finally opening its ice-covered gates for the full release today. Available on PC, Xbox One, and on PlayStation 4 for the first time, this unique game show pits players against each other in a frosty battle to the death.
Today, Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios revealed a first look at gameplay for Magic: Legends, the upcoming free-to-play MMO Action RPG based on the strategy card game, Magic: The Gathering. Magic: Legends will make its debut on PC in 2020, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2021.
MachineGames and Arkane Studios Lyon released an update for Wolfenstein: Youngblood on PC that includes the NVIDIA ray tracing support. Players can now experience the ray-traced reflections throughout each of Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s levels. In addition to this, the update boosts performance throughout Wolfenstein: Youngblood, allowing the game to be enjoyed in higher framerates.
Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences today announced the nominees for its 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. The winners will be revealed at the D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony on February 13 at Aria Resort Las Vegas as the culmination of the week-long industry gathering at the 2020 D.I.C.E. Summit.
Sixty-five games released in 2019 received nominations. Control and Death Stranding lead the nominees with eight nominations each followed by Disco Elysium and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, each earning six nods. Tying for four nominations each include Outer Wilds and Untitled Goose Game while A Short Hike, Mortal Kombat 11, Resident Evil 2, and Sayonara Wild Hearts each received three. Finalists for 2019’s top honor, Game of the Year, are: Control, Death Stranding, Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, and Untitled Goose Game.
Curated add-ons, 60 FPS support, Quick Save functionality and more are available now on all platforms in the latest update for the re-releases of DOOM (1993) and DOOM II. Players can now download and play a curated list of megaWADS, including John Romero’s SIGIL.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the expansion to Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World, is now available for PC players on Steam. Featuring a new storyline, Iceborne hunters can explore an icy new locale called Hoarfrost Reach, which progressively expands to become the largest region in the game thus far and is home to the mysterious new Elder Dragon Velkhana.
The PC version of Iceborne includes features such as a high resolution texture pack, customizable graphical settings, DirectX 12 support, plus optimization for FidelityFX CAS and upscaling. Additionally, mouse-and-keyboard controls have been revamped across the board to better suit the new actions and abilities on PC.
Square Enix today gave players a look at two more of the six heroes from Trials of Mana, which is slated for release on April 24. In the video, players will be introduced to Kevin, heir to the throne of the Beast Kingdom of Ferolia, and Charlotte, granddaughter to Wendel’s Priest of Light, a curious, superstitious scaredy-cat on a mission to protect her friend.
Elwin, a Descendant of Light, must find the Sacred Sword Langrisser to defeat the nefarious forces that seek to unseal the Cursed Sword Alhazard. This story and character trailer showcases Langrisser II of Langrisser I & II, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC this March.
