Metro Redux Coming to Switch on February 28th

Deep Silver and developer 4A Games today announced that Metro Redux will release on Nintendo Switch on February 28th. Metro Redux is the two-game collection including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Metro Redux contains all of Metro: Last Light’s single player DLC offering a further 10 hours of bonus content beyond the base game.

Byleth From Fire Emblem Joins the Roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Byleth, the renowned mercenary and professor from the Fire Emblem series, is ready to teach Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players a lesson in battle. In a video released today, Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, unveiled for the first time the battle-hardened Fire Emblem character in action, who will enter the arena on January 28 as the game’s newest fighter. Sakurai demonstrated Byleth’s unique ranged play style, and revealed the Garreg Mach Monastery stage and 11 new music tracks from the Fire Emblem series, all coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch later this month.

Rustland Grand Prix, the latest season for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, kicks off tomorrow, January 16th. Deep Silver Announces First DLC Pack for Shenmue III

Deep Silver today revealed Shenmue III’s Battle Rally DLC, a new adventure which finds series protagonist Ryo Hazuki competing in a race. Battle Rally also marks the first time in the series’ history where players will be able to lead another protagonist; both the treasure hound Wuying Ren and Ryo’s formidable sparring partner Wei Zhen will be playable within the DLC when it launches January 21st for $7.99 USD.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls Launches on PC

XSEED Games today released Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls on PC via Steam, Humble Store by Humble Bundle, and GOG for $14.99, with a launch week discount of 10%. Originally released on the PlayStation 3 in 2011, the first-person dungeon crawler returns on PC with enhanced visuals, expanded graphical options, all previously released DLC bundled with the game, and the addition of Turbo Mode for players who favor speed over caution as they explore the underworld dungeons.

Resident Evil 3 – Nemesis Trailer

Jill Valentine is the central “S.T.A.R.” of Resident Evil 3, but she’s not alone as Raccoon City’s final chapter unfolds. The survival horror game also features a cast of friends, foes and adversaries amidst a city ravaged by the devastating effects of the T-virus. Today, Capcom released a new cinematic trailer featuring closer looks at additional key characters. Jill’s unofficial partner Carlos Oliveira (depending on who you ask), the rest of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) platoon, the Hunter enemy, and the game’s unstoppable Nemesis, all have major parts to play when Resident Evil 3 releases on April 3.
