Today, on Xbox Wire, Xbox detailed what Smart delivery means for players and highlighted the benefits of the technology, including their belief that you should only have to purchase a cross-gen game once on Xbox. As part of this post, Microsoft also detailed that all Xbox Game Studios titles that are Optimized for Xbox Series X, including Halo Infinite, will support Smart Delivery and how Xbox Game Pass will support Smart Delivery for titles that use the technology.

Sold Out and Metamorphosis Games today revealed the debut trailer for the steampunk action-adventure RPG Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, and announced that a playable demo will be available to download on Steam tomorrow, June 16th, as part of the Steam Game Festival. PC players will be able to download and play the demo from June 16th until the Steam Game Festival comes to a close on June 22nd.
A new teaser for Twin Mirror was premiered during the PC Gaming Show, highlighting the new narrative game’s character of Sam Higgs. Twin Mirror is the first title self-published by Dontnod, creator of Life is Strange, which is once again partnering with Bandai Namco to distribute the console version of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games announced Subject 2923, the final DLC for Remnant: From the Ashes, is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 20th. In addition, Remnant: From the Ashes – Complete Edition, which includes the base game, the first premium DLC Swamps of Corsus and the upcoming premium DLC Subject 2923, will launch on August 20th on PC and consoles. Subject 2923 will introduce a brand new campaign mode “Subject 2923”, that concludes Remnant: From the Ashes’ post-apocalyptic story. The final DLC will also feature two unique zones, all-new quests, bosses, weapons, trinkets, armor sets and more.
Raw Fury has announced that West of Dead, developer Upstream Arcade’s fast-paced, twin=stick, rogue-lite shooter featuring the voice of Ron Perlman, will launch June 18th on PC and Xbox One. West of Dead is also in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
During today’s PC Gaming Show, Amazon Games announced the closed beta for its upcoming MMO PC game, New World, will begin on July 23rd. Information surrounding the closed beta date was revealed alongside a new gameplay trailer highlighting the game’s player-versus-player combat experience. Players who pre-order New World will secure automatic access to the closed beta when it begins, plus in-game rewards. New World will launch for PC on August 25th.
