Electronic Arts today revealed EA Sports UFC 4 featuring UFC middleweight champion Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya and UFC welterweight contender Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal as the game’s official cover athlete duo. The next game in the UFC franchise brings a new experience that puts the player and their created fighter at the center of the action; featuring an all-new unified progression system, overhauled takedown and ground mechanics, more fluid clinch-to-strike combinations and the chance to experience the origins of combat sports in all-new environments. Players who pre-order the game can play out one of the most anticipated fights in combat sports history with world heavyweight boxing champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury on day one. EA Sports UFC 4 will be available on August 14th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Today, EA and Final Strike Games revealed all of the content coming to Season 1 of the upcoming cross-play hero arena shooter, Rocket Arena. On July 28th, just two weeks post-launch, the live service will kick off adding new maps, modes, a variety of in-game events and a new hero to the game available for free for all players.
In Season 1, the story follows the events and heroes of the Rocket Championship Tour, where players discover each hero’s personal motivations for winning the Tour Trophy, and how that drive reflects on their personality, backstory, and passions. The season will also bring a new hero – Flux, the first major in-game event, new maps, and daily and weekly challenges. Over 10 new playlists will be introduced, representing Rocket Arena’s Social, PVE, and Ranked Modes.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Spin Master and WayForward today announced Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia, an all-new, action role-playing video game that will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on November 3rd, 2020.
Expanding on the Bakugan franchise, Champions of Vestroia will offer players the opportunity to befriend powerful creatures (known as Bakugan) and customize teams to participate in the series’ signature Bakugan brawls; players can even take their teams online and compete against other users around the globe to become a true Champion of Vestroia. In addition to these head-to-head battles, Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia will also feature a brand-new, original story that takes place in a fully-navigable, 3D world.

Following the events of the Sword Art Online Alicization anime series, the RPG adventure finds Kirito in a mysterious but familiar virtual world known as “Underworld,” where A.I.s behave like humans.

Bandai Namco has released the newest trailer for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, which showcases the game’s story. Delve into the anime’s Alicization arc and get reintroduced to characters Kirito and Eugeo, who must explore the Underworld in search of their friend Alice while battling foes along the way.

2K today announced that WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the arcade-style brawler, will release on September 18th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Stadia. Featuring a roster of more than 70 WWE Superstars and Legends at launch, with additional Superstars to be released thereafter, WWE 2K Battlegrounds is now available for pre-order in digital formats and at participating retailers.
