Konami today announced that a playable demo for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now available to download on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The free demo showcases Chapter 1 of the game and introduces Raiden as the central character. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available on February 19th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Team Ninja today revealed that the 1.03 update for Dead or Alive 5 contains new content including a free new island stage, gameplay updates and improvements, and three new DLC packs featuring new swimsuit collections to take full advantage of the new Zack Island tropical island setting. The 1.03 update is available now on PlayStation 3 and will be available for Xbox 360 on January 29.

Ubisoft and Nadeo today announced that ShootMania Storm, the online multiplayer first-person shooter, will be released on April 10. Starting February 12, the game will enter an Open Beta phase allowing the developers to receive more feedback from the community ensuring a higher level of polish before the release in April.
2K Games and Irrational Games announced today that BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt, an e-book prequel for Amazon Kindle, will be available beginning February 12th for $2.99 and will be free for those who pre-order BioShock Infinite through Amazon.
BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt provides insight into the mysterious sky-city of Columbia prior to the events of BioShock Infinite and is written by Irrational Games writer Joe Fielder with creative director Ken Levine.
Bethesda Softworks today announced that beta sign-ups for The Elder Scrolls Online are now open at ElderScrollsOnline.com. Interested gamers simply have to go to the website and register for a chance to play. Selected beta registrants will be granted early access to beta test the game. Timing and details of the start of playtests will be provided at a later date to those who register.
In celebration of this news, Bethesda has also released ‘The Alliances Cinematic Trailer’. Tamriel is at war. Three alliances – the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact – square off for control of The Imperial City.
