Namco Bandai and Trion Worlds today announced they have signed an agreement for the retail distribution of the open-world shooter Defiance. Following this agreement, Namco Bandai will distribute Defiance for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC at retailers in April.
Defiance is an online open-world shooter set in a future shattered Earth. Defiance delivers a trans-media experience, as the game will launch alongside the original Syfy Channel TV show Defiance; with events from each impacting the other’s evolution.
Aksys Games today announced that the first action-adventure game from the Hakuoki series, Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi, is now available for PlayStation Vita and PSP via PlayStation Network.

Natsume today announced it will bring Mystic Chronicles to the PSP this summer. Developed by Kemco, the game features retro-style graphics, story-driven quests, and a turn-based battle system.

Electronic Arts and Crytek today announced that Crysis 3 is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and on Origin.com.
These three classic games can now be relived on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with the release of the first pack of titles from Capcom Arcade Cabinet. This first pack is available to purchase today on the PlayStation Store and tomorrow on Xbox Live Arcade at a price of $4.99.
Each of the game packs from Capcom Arcade Cabinet works with the Capcom Arcade ‘platform.’ Players start their trip down memory lane with Black Tiger, which is available to download for free. Downloading Black Tiger will also give access to the Capcom Arcade platform which provides additional features including DIP switch functionality, a music player, and the ability to capture and share screenshots or video. Thereafter, packs of titles can be purchased and then become available to play through the platform.

343 Industries today announced the first details for the next major expansion in the Halo Infinity Multiplayer experience, the Majestic Map Pack, launching February 25th. Developed by Certain Affinity, in collaboration with 343 Industries, the Majestic Map Pack delivers three all-new small to medium sized maps designed specifically for tight, competitive combat in small-team and free-for-all modes: Landfall, Monolith and Skyline.
Landfall’s emphasis is on infantry battles amidst a glittering ocean and a city under siege on a distant world. Monolith is an open battlefield; a Forerunner monument that exposes you to the naked vacuum of space –and the firepower of opposing teams. Skyline puts you in the air on a new construction site, and its distinctly industrial surroundings and sky-high locale provides new challenges in confined spaces.
Additionally, the map pack introduces two new Majestic DLC playlists and a new free-for-all game type, “Infinity Rumble,” that is exclusive to the Majestic DLC playlist for a limited time, as well as 10 new Achievements worth a total of 250 Gamerscore.
Microsoft and Epic Games have released a new Gears of War: Judgment video entitled “The Guts of Gears – Multiplayer,” giving fans a look at the new multiplayer modes, weapons, in-game rewards and gameplay updates. Gears of War: Judgment will be available on March 19th exclusively for Xbox 360.
