Snaga Joins Guardians of Middle-earth

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today released the newest DLC character, the Goblin Snaga, for Guardians of Middle-earth. Gamers can download and play as Snaga – whose abilities include stunning a marked target with his power and dealing damage, while gaining health – on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

DmC Devil May Cry DLC Released, More Coming

Capcom today confirmed that DmC Devil May Cry players will be able to expand their gameplay experience with the release of the Vergil’s Downfall add-on content for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and PC on March 5th. Vergil’s Downfall features the opportunity to play as Vergil with hours of new gameplay, four difficulty levels and an all-new storyline, weapons, combos, enemies and locations. The additional content will be available to purchase for $8.99 (720 MS Points). Customers who pre-ordered DmC Devil May Cry at selected retailers will receive the content for free by simply redeeming the download codes that were provided via the retailer at launch.

Furthermore, Bloody Palace Mode returns to the Devil May Cry series today on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and PC completely free of charge. Delivered via a free update, the Bloody Palace Mode will be available upon completion of the DmC Devil May Cry campaign and will give players access to over 100 bonus levels of demons and enemies, including five bosses.

New Online Features in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14

From an increase in the number of Country Club members available in each club to all new presentation statistics, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 promises to deliver a deeper online connected experience when the game launches on March 26th.

• Country Club membership has increased its numbers from 25 to now up to 100 members.
• A new Country Club Loyalty Bonus feature was added to Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. The more Country Club members that play consecutive days in a row the bigger the reward. Each day a streak average is calculated for each Country Club based on the amount of members (minimum of five members) in the club and each individual member’s login streak. There is a coin payout based on Streak Average length, so club members must work together in order to claim the best coin rewards.
• Country Club Tour was created to allow players of like skill and rank to be matched up against other Country Clubs. Based on weekly Country Club ranks, players will be eligible to participate in one of five different events each week. Monthly and overall rankings are tracked and each month an overall individual player champion and Country Club champion is crowned.
• Players will now see Country Club statistics streamed directly into the game. While playing a round of golf when connected online, banners will populate in between holes updating players about their Country Club. Information about individual weekly and lifetime statistics earned for the Club, comparisons versus Club members and rankings versus other Country Clubs will now all be surfaced to gamers.
• Every Connected Tournament is now a Club Tournament featuring Club versus Club leaderboards. Gamers will not only be competing individually to win a live tournament, but now every tournament will also crown a Country Club champion.
• The all new Club Chat feature will allow Club members to chat together from anywhere in the game. Fans can now speak with fellow Club members no matter where they are located in the game. Tournament chats have also been added so players can join a chat with other gamers playing in the same Connected Tournament – presenting a great way to meet new friends and increase Country Club membership.
• In customized Club tournaments, fans will now be able to see up to 24 ball arcs when playing in the tournament giving users the sense of being on the course with a host of other players. Also, gamers do not have to sit in a lobby and wait until everyone is ready to begin play – just load into the tournament and start swinging away. An all new spectator mode was added where players are placed into a spectator mode after completing each hole and can watch other golfer arcs play through or move onto the next hole at any point. While in spectator mode, players will have the ability to toggle across a variety of different camera angles on the hole.

Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, providing a deeper look at the story mode and characters available in the game. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be available on March 5th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection Released

NIS America today announced that Idea Factory’s strategy RPG, Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection, is now available for digital download on PlayStation Network for the PSP. The title is also compatible with the PS Vita.

Ubisoft Expands Uplay Shop

Ubisoft today announced that top titles from leading video game developers and publishers are now available through Ubisoft’s Uplay shop. PC games from Electronic Arts, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, 1C Company, bitComposer Games, Bohemia Interactive, Encore Software, Focus Home Interactive, Freebird Games, Iceberg Interactive, Nordic Games, Paradox Interactive, Recoil Games, Robot Entertainment, Telltale Games, Torn Banner Studios and others now can be purchased and downloaded through Uplay shop.

To encourage customers to try the expanded Uplay shop, Ubisoft is offering a free digital copy of Driver San Francisco Deluxe Edition, From Dust, Might & Magic Heroes VI Deluxe Edition, Rayman Origins, The Settlers 7 Gold Edition or World in Conflict: Complete Edition, with the purchase of any PC digital game priced $19.90 or higher, from today through March 4th. In addition, Uplay members can redeem all Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 Uplay rewards for free during the promotion.

Pre-orders for titles like EA’s SimCity Limited Edition are also available. In addition, Ubisoft announced that it is now selling its games through EA’s Origin digital download service, including Assassins Creed III and Far Cry 3.

Konami today announced that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Hearthfire DLC for Skyrim Now Available on PS3

Bethesda Softworks today announced that the Hearthfire DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available for download from the PlayStation Store later today. Hearthfire will be priced at 50% off ($2.49) during launch week.

The release of Dawnguard on the PlayStation 3 is not far behind, with availability beginning on February 26th.
