Two Tribes today announced that Toki Tori 2+ will be available for PC via Steam on July 2nd. The PC version will include improved gameplay and presentation, a level editor, Steam Workshop integration and achievements.

Sony Online Entertainment today announced that Dragon’s Prophet has entered its Open Beta period in North America. Players journey through the realm of Auratia to see if they have what it takes to become the next Dragon’s Prophet in the free-to-play, MMORPG. Players will be able to continue with the character and in-game items earned through the commercial launch later this year.
Dragon’s Crown, the multiplayer action beat-em-up from Atlus, will offer players the ability to customize their story with different narrator voices from each of the six playable characters in the game: Amazon, Dwarf, Elf, Fighter, Sorceress, and Wizard. These character voices replace the game’s original narration with their own distinct voice.
Adventurers who play Dragon’s Crown right at launch will have a special offer – for the first month after the game’s release on August 6th, the game’s DLC will be completely free. After the first month, the voice pack will revert to a price of $1.99.
Dragon’s Crown will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
Due to the incredible fan response for the Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition, Namco Bandai today announced the Tales of Xillia Limited Edition available at all North American retailers for $59.99 on August 6th for the PlayStation 3. The Limited Edition will be limited to all first-run copies of the game and include Tales of Xillia game software, exclusive collectable character profile booklet, Tales of Xillia music CD, and two DLC costumes.
The Tales of Xillia Limited Edition is now available for pre-order at all participating retailers. Fans who have already pre-ordered the standard edition of Tales of Xillia will automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition.
Double Fine Productions has announced a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to develop Massive Chalice, an upcoming 3D fantasy tactics game with a multi-generational twist.
Helmed by Double Fine veteran Brad Muir, project lead of Iron Brigade, Massive Chalice blends turn-based squad tactics gameplay with a grand strategy layer. As an immortal king or queen, the player will develop a powerful dynasty over a century-spanning timeline, training generations of heroes to repel a demonic invasion.
The Massive Chalice Kickstarter follows up Double Fine Adventure, the studio’s record-setting Kickstarter project that raised $3.3 million last year. Broken Age, the Tim Schafer-led adventure game funded by that campaign, is currently in full development.
Backer rewards include DRM-free and Steam copies of the game for PC, as well as a limited edition t-shirt and signed art print designed by Cory Schmitz (Soundshapes, Polygon), and the ability to name and design a noble house inside the game world.
Massive Chalice has a Kickstarter backing goal of $725,000 by June 27th, which will allow the team to deliver the game in late 2014.
Tripwire Interactive today announced the release of Rising Storm – the next game in the Red Orchestra franchise – on Steam as well as other major digital outlets. Rising Storm is a complete new multi-player game, focusing on the fighting in the Pacific Theater of WWII, with the US Army and Marine Corps taking on the Imperial Japanese Army.
