WWE 2K14 Phenom Edition Unveiled

2K today announced that WWE Superstar Undertaker will be featured through the “Phenom Edition” of WWE 2K14. Available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while supplies last, the WWE 2K14 “Phenom Edition” is scheduled to include the following items:

• Exclusive tin coffin box;
• Exclusive collectible art card personally autographed by Undertaker;
• Exclusive Undertaker playable character: “American Badass”;
• Exclusive Undertaker-themed controller skin;

Apogee Software and Interceptor Entertainment today announced that Rise of the Triad is now available via digital distributors for $14.99.

Guacamelee! Gold Edition Coming to Steam Next Week

DrinkBox Studios is bringing its platform-brawler Guacamelee! to Steam as a special Guacamelee! Gold Edition on August 8th. To celebrate the Steam launch, Guacamelee! will be 10 percent off for the first week of release. As an added bonus, for the first week, purchasers of Guacamelee! DuckTales: Remastered – African Mines Trailer

Capcom has released the latest DuckTales: Remastered postcard trailer, this one from the AFrican mines.

DuckTales: Remastered launches August 13th on PlayStation Network, Wii U eShop and Steam, and on September 11th on Xbox Live Arcade.

Batman: Arkham Origins Online Component Confirmed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today confirmed that Batman: Arkham Origins will ship with a mode that allows players to take the franchise’s gameplay online to play with friends and foes. The online component blends the traditional Arkham gameplay with third-person shooter mechanics and is in development by Splash Damage.

The Batman: Arkham Origins Online mode offers players the chance to hunt as Batman or Robin against the most challenging opponents yet, friends and other gamers online. Players can also take on the role of a Super-Villain Elite and get a peek behind the curtain of what it’s like to side with The Joker or Bane as they establish their legacy by taking down Batman and Robin, and anyone else who gets in their way. Fans will even be able call in the ultimate reinforcement to help turn the tide in any match by playing as The Joker or Bane themselves.

The online mode will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game is scheduled to launch on October 25th.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition Demo Out

Konami today announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition for PC is now available for pre-order. Fans who pre-order the title will receive a 10% discount. A new demo of the game is also available for download today at http://store.steampowered.com/app/234080/.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified – #YOLO Trailer

2K and 2K Marin have released a new gameplay video for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. In this video, entitled “#YOLO,” you’ll see that Special Agent Carter has been carefully selected by The Bureau due to his keen sense of battlefield tactics, but it’s not long before he realizes that being a bad battlefield commander isn’t without consequences.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be available on August 20th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Deep Silver today announced that the twin-stick shooter Narco Terror is now available on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and Steam for $9.99 (800 MS Points).

Dragon’s Crown – Full Trailer

Atlus has released the final trailer for Dragon’s Crown. The adventure in Hydeland begins August 6th on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Wave #1 of Disney Infinity Power Discs Announced

Disney Interactive today announced its first wave of the Disney Infinity Power Discs, additional play pieces that give gamers the opportunity to enhance and transform their experience. By placing either the Circular or Hexagonal Power Discs on the Disney Infinity base, it allows them to unlock special powers, classic Disney gadgets, themes and vehicles.

The Circular Power Discs grant characters special power ups that can be used in both Play Set and Toy Box modes. Hexagonal Power Discs unlock special gadgets, vehicles and themes to allow for even more personalization and customization opportunities within Toy Box mode. Players can stack up to two Circular Power Discs or up to three Hexagonal Power Discs to optimize all the add-ons. There will also be three rare discs, designated with a special lenticular design.

Starting at launch, the power discs will be available in blind packs of two for $4.99. Below is the full list of the Power Discs:

Circular Discs

• Bolt’s Super Strength – Character that you’re playing with does 10% more damage
• Fix It Felix’s Repair Power – Character you’re playing with has 20% more health
• C.H.R.O.M.E’s Armor Shield – In-game character receives -10% less damage
• Pieces of Eight – In-game character gains 10% more loot

Hexagonal Discs

• Mickey’s Car – Drive Mickey’s Jalopy in the Toy Box
• Cinderella’s Coach – Drive Cinderella’s Carriage in the Toy Box

• Stitch’s Blaster – In-game character gets Stitch’s blaster from “Lilo and Stitch”
